Impressive 6S 1/7 Scale Truck
The new Arrma Big Rock 6S is an absolute beast of a truck. Its incredible design and attention to detail make it a true work of art. Arrma has done it again with this model, incorporating true scale features that make the truck stand out from the crowd.
Rugged Performance, With Room for Upgrades
I have to admit, I made a few modifications since my last video. While the truck performed flawlessly as a stock Ready-To-Run (RTR) vehicle, there were some areas that needed a little extra reinforcement. After all, if you’re going to push the limits and indulge in extreme bashing, upgrades are a must.
The Notorious Roof Crash
During one of my intense sessions, disaster struck. It was entirely my fault for neglecting to secure the stock C clip on the pinion. As a result, the pinion slipped off and resulted in a catastrophic roof crash. Yet, despite the impact, the body remained intact. It may have had a few creases, but it withstood the blow and protected the truck from further damage.
Tires That Withstand the Pressure
I am pleased to report that the Big Rock’s tires have held up exceptionally well. There have been no issues with the glue beads coming undone or the foams blowing out. The tires maintain excellent traction and add a cool factor to the truck’s overall appearance.
Minor Upgrades for Maximum Toughness
Straight out of the box, this truck is impressively tough. However, I decided to make a few minor upgrades to enhance its capabilities. One of these upgrades includes adding carbon fiber towers by Basher Queen. These towers provide additional strength and reinforcement to ensure that the truck can handle even the most demanding terrains and jumps.

I believe M2C Racing now offers some perfect little additions for the Arrma Big Rock 6s. These upgrades provide a nice boost to the lighting and rig, adding a bit of extra strength to the towers. One notable addition is the M2C Racing shock standoffs, which enhance the overall performance of the truck.
Strengthening the Towers
To reinforce the Big Rock 6s, I decided to add the towers in the front and the back. Although it may be difficult to see due to the shade, I also installed a Bastter Queen rear diff case. This upgrade was necessary because I had experienced a few instances where the ears on the rear diff case had snapped off. This happened due to extreme situations, such as rough landings that put a significant amount of stress on the truck. In normal hard bashing scenarios, this kind of damage is unlikely to occur. Nevertheless, I made the decision to upgrade the parts for added peace of mind.
Center Diff Upgrade
While I had the truck apart, I also took the opportunity to switch the center differential to a 500k setup. The front and rear differentials, however, are still in their stock configurations. I am currently using the stock electronics punch on the ESC. Additionally, I decided to throw in a 17-tooth pinion. Although this may not be the ideal pinion for bashing purposes, it allows me to perform some crazy launches and have a lot of fun with the truck.

With all the upgrades and modifications in place, I have now suited up the Arrma Big Rock 6s for another bash session. I want to give a big shout out to Arman Horizon Hobbies for creating such an amazing truck. It truly is a blast to drive and provides endless entertainment.

Oh, that was close and she made it. Oh, come on girl, get on your feet there. We go about some crawling action with the big rock. I screw that, I’m going to crawler, I’m a Basher. Oh, I missed that turn. Music got to hug it a little bit tighter. There we go, oh, not in water, not in water, and she’s in. I was trying not to do that. We got to get her before she floats off. Come here girl, oh yeah. She wanted to cool off, woo.
Amazing Features
It’s a good thing these things are waterproof. Music is Music, alright, guys. That’s going to be it, I just wanted to get this thing out for a second run that’s all I got time for right now, but this thing, it’s an amazing truck straight out of the box. Its definitely fast, even with the stock Electronics, a stock 13 to pinion. But if you want to throw one at 16, you’ll get 65 plus miles hour and the temps really aren’t that bad because the cooling system works really good on it. You know, with the motor fan ESC fan and that new Firma, 150 amp, V2 ESC runs really efficiently and pretty cool.

But for us extreme bastards, we always want more. This new Arrma Big Rock 6s is perfect for pushing the limits of what an RC monster truck can do.
