Discovering the Missed Opportunity
This one kind of bothered me a little bit because, as I was watching the playback, I noticed a car that I really wish I should have bought. An Exciting RC Store
What is up, guys? My name is Mark Cel. Welcome back to the channel, welcome back to the RC Vlog, guys. If you’ve been following my last few hobby shop tours, you’ve noticed that this new Sun Hobbies store they have is amazing. They have this incredible store in McAllen, Texas, and then about a mile down the street, they have a store inside the mall. I mean, what else could you ask for? A big outdoor store and a big mall store. What do you think?
The Thrill of Outlet Store Exploration
Next is an outlet store, which they don’t have just one outlet store. They have two outlet stores now. We’re not going to go to the second one because the second one has a bunch of Funko pops and non-RC related stuff, some RC related stuff, but this store right here is amazing. Another fantastic store with a whole bunch of RC cars. Let’s do a tour.
The Missed Opportunity
This outlet store is called Rio Grand Valley Premium Outlets, and yes, New Sun Racing has a hobby shop. And then this store, again, I’m just going to peek.
Exploring the Toy Store
My head in here, so you guys, can see what’s in here, but it’s not RC related stuff. They got some like toy-grade stuff, but it’s essentially like a toy store. Looks like they have the granite Grom. They have the granite Grom in there, um, they got a whole bunch of Funko Pops. They got a lot of music going on here, so we’re going to kind of slowly back out, but that’s cool.
Entering the Hobby Shop
I really like how they really kind of bridge that gap between just looking for toys: how’s it going man looking for toys and uh RC, so we’re going to go next door. Oh my God, I mean how many hobby shops have I seen? I’ve seen a whole bunch and still, hobby shops still excite me. Look, they got bikes and Ethan. Okay, F1. Nice, let’s go in. Music here. Did you hear it? Did you hear the angels hello? Did you hear the angels come out? Actually, I think the guy who works here, his name is Angel, that’s pretty funny.
Discovering the TRX4
Anyways, TRX4 is right. When you walk in, perfect. I mean this is a chei way to get in and they’re super cool. You can accessorize them to the Moon if you want, but God seriously I mean they have the granite Grom. How come we can’t find granite groms, where I’m at they sell out that fast? In this section, they have a whole bunch of F1 gear, swag stuff like that, which I probably have to go through this stuff let’s go back through here, their minis up front.
Impulse Purchase
After spending hours browsing through different options at the hobby shop, I finally stumbled upon the Trx 4S. At first, I was hesitant to make a purchase, but the more I explored its features, the more I realized that this RC car was a must-have.
Attention to Detail
As I examined the intricate design of the Trx 4S, I couldn’t help but admire the special edition gold accents that set it apart from other models. The attention to detail on the shell and the overall aesthetics of the car left me in awe.
Diverse Selection
The hobby shop not only had the Trx 4S but also a wide range of low riders in various colors and styles. This diverse selection was impressive, as it catered to every preference and allowed customers to choose the perfect model that suited their taste.
Ultimate Performance
Furthermore, the Trx 4S was not the only standout at the shop. The Sledge drag slash, xrt, and XX Max were also on display, showcasing the ultimate performance and power that Traxxas cars are known for. The xmax ultimate was particularly eye-catching, promising an unmatched experience for RC enthusiasts.
Regret Setting In
As I left the hobby shop without making a purchase, the regret started to sink in. The more I thought about the Trx 4S and its counterparts, the more I realized that I had missed out on a great opportunity to add an exceptional RC car to my collection. I couldn’t believe I had let it slip through my fingers.
Exploring the RC Car Shop
Of course they do. Would it be a new Sun? Without it they got two. They got the xmax ultimate and the xrt ultimate and the other xmax they got ultimates everywhere. I think they have every color what I think they have every color, xmax and xrt ultimate. Did I just squeak Im getting so look out of squeak who hold on a second okay, relax Mark just breathe, look at all the gold pieces here, all the low rider pieces.
Custom Selections
This is an awesome shop if youre into low riders. I mean you got to check this place out. Look at all these. They have custom stuff man all right. So I have to see this this caught my eye because looks like theres. Some just kind of color fade on these boxes. Well, look Ive! Never seen that color before its because its color fade anyways that guy look at him. Sorry, um all the bodies. Here they got paint you can see the different ones they have how its categorized bodies are always a pain in the butt they take up.
Wide Range of Options
So much real estate. Turning around we have The Apprentice. We got scx 24s. We got some Panda hobby mini crawlers there. Look at these. This would be a fun class. Ive, never seen these um, I heard theyre pretty big up north. These are asphalt, modified oval cars, but they have a whole bunch all the way down. They even have the Sprint car and on this side there it is, they got parts for it.
The Temptation
The moment I laid eyes on it, I knew I had made a grave mistake. The sleek design, the intricate details, and the promise of endless fun beckoned to me from the display shelf. How could I have been so blind to not purchase this RC car sooner?
The Features
As I examined the RC car, I couldn’t help but marvel at its features. The precision engineering, the durable construction, and the advanced technology all made it stand out from the rest. It was clear that this was no ordinary toy – this was a machine built for speed and performance.
The Regret
Every passing moment without the RC car in my possession filled me with regret. I imagined the exhilaration of racing it around a track, the satisfaction of mastering its controls, and the envy of fellow hobbyists. Why had I waited so long to make this purchase?
The Resolution
In a sudden fit of determination, I vowed to rectify my mistake. I hurried to the cashier, eager to make the RC car mine at last. As I handed over the payment, a sense of relief washed over me. I may not have bought it sooner, but I was finally the proud owner of this magnificent machine.
The Joy
As I drove the RC car for the first time, a wave of joy engulfed me. The speed, the agility, and the sheer thrill of the experience surpassed all my expectations. I couldn’t believe I had waited this long to indulge in such pure fun. From that day on, the RC car became my new obsession, bringing endless hours of entertainment and excitement.
The Temptation Unveiled
Needless to say, I have all those kits look right behind me. Vanquish beadlocks man, they got so much. Look. Look at the Techno Parts Mega techno part support. Traxxas part support Je. That is a massive Traxxas wall. So these are all the parts well quickly go through this stuff.
The Array of Options
Look. We got some samix parts, tiken, oh look! So they again, they have their own line of tools. Very nice got some other stuff here handles things like that and then RPM you guys know. I did a I mentioned RPM at another hobby shop, tour that I did but very good durability upgrades. If you want to save some money, got some Spectrum smart stuff tires Galore, my goodness.
The Overwhelming Choices
Have you ever seen this many Traxxas tires in one spot. Thats a lot of Traxxas tires: Prine dude. I love it Traxxas and Proline nice the track stuff. We got some J Concepts, maybe two wheel drive stuff, but this seems to have more racing stuff than the other shops. Okay weve, been through. All of this over uh were going on to the right side now which they have in the middle a whole bunch of like dirt bikes, ATVs things like that man.
The Perfect Blend
I could have some fun with these, but very cool which these these two Hobbies. They do kind of cross a lot of times. You see Motocross guys get into RC, so its cool to see them together. Look. This is like their back stock of Traxxas Vehicles, theres raptor, r, Black Edition a whole bunch of Slash, ultimates jeez, Maxis, xrt xmax, a bunch of Trax of stuff.
The Pink Slash Fox Rustler
Upon reviewing the different options available, one particular RC car caught my attention – the pink Slash Fox Rustler. The vibrant color and sleek design immediately stood out among the rest.
The Inventory
As I continued to look through the various models, including the 4×4 Rustler Ultimates, the HoS 4×4, Mini Revo, Mini Summit, Mini Slash, Ford Raptor R 4×4 Ultimate, and the SL 4×4 Brushless, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement building up inside me.
The Red VXL Bigfoot
At first, I was taken aback when I thought I hadn’t seen the red RC car I had been eyeing, only to realize that it was actually part of the Brushless collection. The red VXL Bigfoot held a special place in my heart, and I couldn’t believe I had momentarily forgotten about it.
The Custom Haulers
Another highlight of the inventory was the custom haulers, particularly the red cat custom haulers available in both colors. These RC cars exuded a sense of power and style that I instantly fell in love with.
Exploring the Options
As I scanned through the other models on display, such as the K shows in every flavor possible and the silver F450 Dually, I couldn’t help but feel a tinge of regret for not purchasing the RC car sooner. The array of choices and the excitement in the air made me realize just how much I had missed out on by not buying it earlier.
The Final Decision
Despite the temptation of the Toyota RC car and the Associated Oval car that almost swayed me at the Hobby Town, I couldn’t shake off the feeling of disbelief for not getting the RC car I had been eyeing all along. The thrill of the inventory and the variety of models only made me yearn for it even more.
The Discovery of the RC Car Store
They got some cars out that you can see, and then mad van, my God, goodness guys its just like inventory hidden everywhere. They got a whole bunch of stuff theres.
The Variety of RC Cars
The blue Cent F450, very cool LMT Tacoma, little ATV silver scx6. I have mine um, just haven’t driven in Forever the UDR, my goodness guys this place. This is insane absolutely insane check this out guys.
The Traxxas Fortek Stability Kit
I have never seen this, but this is awesome. A Traxxas, Fortek Stability Kit, interesting. This is crazy guys. I mean this amazing store its 30 minutes, maybe 30 40 minutes away from the other amazing store in Macallen. This is in Mercedes Texas.
The Hospitality of the Store Owners
Then they have one at the mall, and this is just three of the five beautiful facility man. This place is awesome. Big shout out to FY and the guys at New Sun Racing being so so accommodating showing all the hospitality, really greatly appreciate it.
The Regret of Not Buying the RC Car
