Unboxing Experience
This thing has an ultra low price point of around $170. You get four wheel steering portal MOA axles on a trail truck lets get to the table. Okay, lets dig into this thing now. At $170, youre not getting a licensed body, but what you have is a very nice entry-level truck now.
Unique Features
This is a four-wheel steer portal axle truck dudes Ive never seen this before. So this is something really nice really interesting with this comes Metal Gear. So you can put in this and also refit the older axles as well so that’s beautiful, so I’ve really got my hopes up for this thing, as it is right now, it’s a trail truck uh tires feel like they’re a little bit on the stiff side.
Customization Potential
Probably not going to hook up very well, but I mean, for what it is and what the price point is, I think this is a winner, but let’s get it out, give it a drive I’m going to get into the gears with it a little bit later on, possibly Motors different tires suspension all that stuff because as it sits, there’s a lot of room for you to work and make this yours modify and build it to the hilt.
Radio Features
Let’s get outside let’s look at some of the features of this radio here, since I didn’t show you guys that rear lock. This gives you dig and it’s actually really effective, which I love to see because it tells you that the gear ratios are correct, front, steering, trim, rear, steering, trim and your throttle trim right there.

Tire Grip and Handling
I can get this right here. Yep front Seer only tires are not grabbing very well on the Rock. Now I am noticing a little bit of a bump on the throttle here: that’s possibly the motors doing their thing, but the fact that the ESC has an actual dig feature to it. There we go is really nice yeah these tires. They are not the right compound for rocks. Are they but it’s more of a Trill truck and for General Trail usage dirt stuff, like that, going to be just fine with it.
Potential Upgrades
What we’re about to get into now with the stock battery? It drives really mildly, so I mean I’m telling you what I’m thinking figure this out a nice little set of brushless motor for this thing get those metal gears in the axles. I set a servos, or at least something with the uh, with some real power to them.
Exploring Different Terrain
Take the servo Sabers off, put some tires that got some really good grip, and this thing may actually be really good in the Rocks. Its very mild we are out of its element right now. Lets get in its element. Yeah see now were getting right. Lets get over here to some dirt stuff like this now the tires they are vented, so I dont want to get into the mud water, but you some dirt drive, because Tire should be really good on that. Look at that turn yeah its much more at home. Here much more at home out here, man look at this. This is what Im talking about.
Testing the Features
Let me show you guys that dig feature real quick out here: push the little dig lock button right there or rear, lock, thats nice. You see that that rear axle is not rolling because the new 50 to 1 gear ratio that it has oh wow, so it digs in forward, but you got Drive In Reverse thats interesting. Let me get back to front steer only that is neat, but we got to uh do more dirt, suckers Thats, Where Its At with this thing these tires, they really are not what you want for rocks, as we just saw now.
Observation on Claw Stall
Another thing Im not noticing – and maybe I havent put it in the right situation yet, but I havent noticed any claw stall and Claw stall is where you have a MOA style vehicle and it literally, like the rear motor will stall cuz the weights on it.
Initial Impressions
So, I’m going to try a little bit of something like that, but I haven’t noticed that if that makes any sense, nice pull right. There let’s see here all right it’s a little bit on the front right there, but as soon as I give it a little bit more throttle, the back end is pulling in a bad spot for the sunlight. Maybe a little bit better here. Let’s see all right. There’s a little bit right there, but overall not a lot of clog stall, and this thing is so much better out here.
Performance in the Dirt
Let’s get back to four-wheel steering see now you can put a different radio in here with this ESC and have much quicker control of it. I’m thinking nice come on baby. If I can do a little crab steer yeah, it is way more at home in the dirt, although it does need a little bit of little bit more wheel, speed yeah, so much better like this, when you’re in the dirt o look at that when you’re in the dirt, you really want your tread not to fall over cuz. You got to push the dirt a lot of times so yeah.
Potential Upgrades
I need to see if I can get a little bit more power into this uh, possibly put a different radio on it. So I can get into the steering mode quicker. Um crab, steer all that wonderful stuff and that’s pretty darn good there isn’t it first run is done.

The truck has a lot of potential, it’s not quite there yet. For the price point, you’re not going to beat this thing. The MOA and the portal axle are impressive features that set this model apart.
