Impressions of the FMS FCX10 K5 Blazer
As far as the builds and all of the assembly go, all I can speak to is what’s here in front of me. The impressions that I have on it and that’s what we’re going to do. But overall, I see this as a trail truck. It’s not going to handle like the comp trucks we’ve been building. Although, what they’ve been able to make trail trucks do has just gotten better and better and better. The suspension on this feels really good. Feels very plush. The tire is hooked up, and it does have a quick-release body.
Features and Functionality
I struggle a little bit with it. I’m still wrapping my brain around how they work, but it’s getting easier for me as I’m doing it. I’ll show you how that works. On the whole, I think, for the value for what you get is pretty decent. It is brushed. There are some options you could do, like changing components, but then you start dealing with all the lighting.
Customization and Performance
That might be one thing I think about changing, but then you start changing too many components and you’re going to start dealing with all the lighting. That’s why I say with this one, as much as people want to deep dive and go into things, you could do whatever. I think this is for me, one that I kind of keep like it is and I run it and get really pretty footage of it. It drives really good anyway. So, for what I would want it to do, it’s almost already doing it and nice and slow speed because it’s got a two-speed transmission.

Here you can see where the diffs and all that lock and how they’re engaged so some people love that and if you’re trailing that’s when you know you’re less likely, probably to tear something up in a scenario like this cause you may not be locking them all the time and really fighting it.
Off-Road Performance
If you’re really going hard at stuff, this might not be the perfect truck for that, but boy, man, you’re going camping and you’re just walking trails and hanging out, so good.
Engaging Features
Let me just go ahead and fire this up, we can watch some of this work. I’ve got this on and then up underneath the front here or the back is where the on/off switch is located. So you can see just how if we click on here that sets your front dig or front locking diff right there rear and again these light up.

Now both are locked unlock one. You see this back wheel here, given up cause it’s not locked, but the top and everything else is spinning. You see it given up there in the front on that side, so they’re both unlocked there. This is going to be your rocker for the other side of servos.
Now that we’re unlocked right here here that go that’s just front wheel drive back end, still free its not locked, here’s four-wheel drive and then the other way. All the way back is going to do our dig.
The Stylish Design
The back ends, locking completely to walk it around so that’s pretty cool to see. The turning radius is pretty good with the middle gear servo in place. There’s also a middle servo horn located down there, and then you’ve got the two-speed feature. Pressing the blue button on channel four activates the lights, adding to the allure of this beauty.
