Ordering Excitement
I know there’s a kit in here, but um. It ordered a few other things. I’ve just put um an order in on eBay as well for some 1060 ESC, apparently the black ones that come with the Tamiya kits have a um, lower um motor rating.
Upgrades Planned
So I’ve got loads of the red ones from China. I got eth and all so I’m planning on some of my onroad cars that have got like 4000 KV Motors in I’m, going to take them out and maybe most slow them down a little bit. Cuz I’m just destroy bodies, so I’m might going to put a 1 in I’m going to try a 1 in brush motor and then um. If that’s, no good I’m going to go for um 15 don’t really like the silver canons. Don’t really feel there’s enough power in there.
Ready for Action
But got got a lot of onroad cars. Once the weather improves we’re going to get out with them, so we got loads of um loads of 1060 ESC, them JX, low profile saos and some of them Spectrum compatible um receivers. So yeah got a lot of kits coming in in the next few days, went out with the advant the other day and absolutely loved it, so that video that video is done quite well to be honest, but um yeah I’m definitely I definitely want an egress.
Eyeing the Black Edition ESS
Now I’ve been looking at the Black Edition ESS and it’s actually cheaper than the standard edition egress and them stickers have got like the body’s black and the stickers are like blue and white.
Exciting Plans for the Body Shell
I was thinking about doing the body shell. I dont think it comes prepainted, but I was thinking about doing the body. Shell actually red, so the color of the C would be red, white and blue. So I think that’ll look awesome, so yeah loads of new kits its be baed in July.
Future Additions to the Collection
So um got a few kits coming in Im, going to get a cloud Buster been looking into the electronic, seeing if they’re in stock at model sport but yeah. This is where this ORD come from model sport. So thanks for model sport for sorting us out, as always so yeah always well packaged model sports stuff right.
Additional Items in the Package
A few little items in here, one of one of the um one of the motors – has come out of the packaging. But I’ve got a couple of these um 121 rust bpec Motors, these 1210 Motors, quite nippy Motors nice and fast nice and cheap. So i got two of them. I got a set of B bearings and I got a couple of these um AO carbon fiber effect wings. I put these on me racing bug in me, B7, and I also put them on some of me um. Some of when me Tam, two wheel drives like the sand. Vipers got one so yeah they’re about 9, so yeah always good to get them yeah, but the main thing very happy to get this been waiting for this to come in stock and look at that box Out Boys H here, hot shot too.
Unboxing the Stunning Box
That is an absolutely stunning box. We are going to open the box up, have a quick look inside, and start building it today. It is a lovely box that would look great in a picture frame.
The Pre-painted Body
The first thing you are presented with is a prepainted body. It is a small shell with not many stickers, but it looks smart and nice. The design is different from the Hot Shot original, with no wing and tricky little holes at the back for the clips to the wing.
White Wheels and Block Spike Tires
The kit includes white wheels which look small but awesome. The block spike tires smell very Tamia and are great quality. With our roll cage, rear wing stay, and battery retaining clips, we have everything we need to start building.
Exploring the Components
The kit of the Tamiya Hotshot II 4WD Offroad RC Car comes with a variety of components that are essential for its assembly. From the wing screws to the shafts and roll cage bits, each piece plays a crucial role in the functionality of the car. The front bumper, albeit fragile, adds a touch of authenticity with the Tamiya logo engraved on it. The front section, similar to a skid plate, provides added protection to the car during rough rides.
Additional Features
The kit also includes attachments for the roll bars, shock towers, and battery placement. The rear shock tower and plate, along with the front suspension colors, add to the overall stability and aesthetics of the car. The gearbox halves, notorious for being noisy in the Hot Shot series, are an integral part of the assembly process. The included 1060 ESC, although not as high-rated as others, serves its purpose effectively.
Motor Limit and Other Specifications
The kit specifies a motor limit of 1510 or possibly 20110, providing ample power for the car’s performance. The gearbox, although chattery, functions efficiently to deliver a smooth driving experience. With attention to detail and precise assembly, the Tamiya Hotshot II 4WD Offroad RC Car proves to be a thrilling addition to any enthusiast’s collection.
Unboxing the Kit
I don’t know, but yeah. If anyone knows what motor limit is on these, I think it’s 15. So it might be all right in some of the onroad cars, but yeah got a couple of them, so that’ll go in the spear box.
Heres our stickers remind me very much so of the Hornet that red orange and yellow yeah just one sticker sheet. Our instruction manual classic Tamia print got a big stack of these. It’s always handy to have yeah should be easy enough.
There we go and where we go, this lovely box. This is a nice box. As far as boxes go, that is a lovely box. Yep, get this open, see what we get inside, not sure what motor comes in this. I think it’s just a standard silver gun. So here we go.
Exploring the Components
We have got our chassis, that clamshell chassis has a little hatch on the top driver figures molded into the chassis. Our chassis we’ve got our rear suspension arms quite brittle yeah, it’s not meant for bashing this car and with there’s our front wishbones, our bag B, our bag D, our bag, A, and our bag, C so just four bags there’s our driver’s head, but got one here. Kind of done so we just need to T touch it up a bit just touch up his flesh, but I think that’ll be going on to save me a job. I’m not sure what color the driver figures, yeah, he’s red and white, so yeah driver figure, a suspension parts for them, mono, shocks, just fre, shock bodies, our front Knuckles.
Unwrapping the New Kit
You’ve got a lot of these. For some reason. You tend to break on that point there, where the pillow ball goes in. Some people spread them – would like? U get a Fred, a a freder and actually frad it. So you’re not putting stress on the plastic and there’s our gears, our diffs quite solid diffs.
Excitement Building
Our silver cam motor – don’t really use them. Not an old man just yet so there we go guys I’ll put them back in the box. Looking forward to building this one just been on um, just been on the internet, making a list of what I want to get have to run in the conad the other day.
Anticipation for the Build
I want a king, yellow, decided and, like I say, I also want an ESS and there you go boys Tamiya Hotshot II. Didn’t think this would ever come around out of all the Hot Shots. I think the super hot shot was the one I wanted, but at the time, but now there – the black.
