The New FMS FCX10
We are FMS model anyway, I thought as Im repping them with the merch they might as well. Do this one in these boxes is the new one0 scale K5 from FMS right, this probably isnt, going to work trying to do all three at once. Lets get the orange one out. That is this one. You are going to be blown away by the detail on these absolutely blown away. I got the wrong one out were going for the brown one got black brown orange. Not only are you going to be blown away by the detail on these?
Impressive Features
You want to see all the functions, its got front, wheeel drive, four wheel, drive, dig front, wheeel, drive, four wheel, drive or rear wheel drive its got two speed. Gearbox its got portal axles. The lighting system is really good as well. How theyve done that? Its also got remote, locking, diffs new remote as well 11 Channel wow. Every time I do a mini crawler from FMS everyones always like. We want one1 scale. We want one10 scale. Well, here you go heres. Your one1 scale come on hello, K5 yeah.
Customization Options
You can have it as like a pickup bed. Well, look at that in a minute, but you have to make the holes yourself for that that will go on there. I think it probably look better with this actually, but just look at it. Look at the detail fully licensed body, its not a hard body, its lexon, but its.
Assessing the Rigidity
It feels very rigid. We take the body off and stuff, obviously in a minute and have a proper look. So I get the other two out and well just line them all up, so we can see the different colors so exactly same colors as the 24 scales.
Damage Assessment
Unfortunately, the orange one looks like it’s taking a bit of a hit on the way over here. That is a real shame, see on the box. There, it’s either been dropped or that could have been a strap. You know where they like a. I can’t remember what they call them, but the straps they put over stuff, but I can’t imagine that would have done it.
Comparison with Other Models
I’ve checked the other two no issue at all there, this one cracked there and looks like a little bit of paint off from the inside there. So definitely good idea give them a good check over when you get them black one looks so nice. Maybe I need to do a replica of my little mini one that I did. I think I might have to do that.

So I think what we’re going to do as the orange one has got some damage to it. I’m going to use this one on this video means I can take it out and not be too scared to scratch it and stuff. This says free gift on it, so I dont know whether theyre all going to have these or whether this is just like the first. However, many orders looks like we got some uh inner Fender guards or inner mud guards. Theres, not just rear ones, theres front ones as well.
They fallen on the floor and I hadnt seen them when I was putting all the others back in the box. I noticed that there was two sets, so you got front and rear guards. I wont know until they release this, whether its a certain amount that getting these or whether theyre coming with all of them, but that is a nice little addition.
Is the TRX4 in Trouble?
There got the glass there for your rear bed cover and the window tints looks like some spotlights in there with the lenses uh and some other number plates, and then you get this transmitter, which is apparently 11 channels.
Look at all that on there right lets count: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, uh, wheres, Channel 11 there and that says, drag break wow youve also got your steering, trim, steering jeal rate. You got your throttle, jeel rate throttle trim. This is a properly loaded up transmitter and then you got these dip switches here.
You can see, some of them are Channel reverse and then the others are forward. Reverse brakes. Thatll. Do your ESC settings there as well? O suspension feels good its not super stiff.
The New FMS FCX10
I mean we got a good amount of flex. There tires feel pretty sticky what they say on there. Super Mara gnarly tread all right lets get the body off. You see no body pins, no body posts, its got under here, theres some little. Where are they? There? Pull that in it slides up like that and then same at the rear, so this whole body has got lights all over it, but watch this look. Look all that the lights are connected via these. That is a very cool design. What does it say? Please ensure that the magnetic connectors on the chassis and car shall not come into contact with metal objects to prevent any potential electronic short circuits, all the CA in for the lights all neatly in the body, nothing interrupting the body removal. This is, I mean this is a really good system, but its not easy to get the body off.
The Chassis and Components
You kind of need like three hands, sometimes to do it, but still we do like a body without body post sitting through dont we so what we got underneath this thing has got five servos. You got two this side, two that side and then you got your axle mounted Servo there. So these two look like gearbox and then your dig or rear wheel drive front. Wheeel drive selector cuz. These two have got cables connected to them, which will go to the diffs, so you got remote, locking diffs. So currently the diffs are open.

Features of the FMS FCX10
You press or turn one of the channels on the radio that will lock the diffs you’re. Probably all shouting at me cuz. I haven’t used my pointer today and is that two in one yeah, receiver and ESC, there got all your connections and you got a 21 turn brushed 550 motor adjustable metal. Boded oil shocks like like I said they feel nice feels like the rear, is a bit softer than the front, but still it feels good out the box theres your tires.
Design and Build Quality
You got some chrome, wheels, chrome front bumper and a chrome rear bumper there’s, your battery tray down the center and these side steps have got a little slot in them as well, so your body sits in there. Nice and snug got quite a nice flat skid plate. There that looks good reverse Drive, well, not reverse drive, but your rear drive, shaft and front drive shaft counter rotate each other that helps with uh torque twist four link at the back there. All metal links same at the front four link at the front.
Durability and Performance
These are plastic, telescopic drive, shafts with with metal ends, there’s your remote locking, diff at the front and then the same at the rear. There plastic axle housings your portal axle, you can see, you got bearings in there and you got and then you got your metal axles in there. You’ll have metal gears in there. That is a nice steering angle that is very nice metal, Servo arm there metal steering link.
Exploring the New FMS FCX10
This looks really good. You got quite a nice bit of clearance there right going to get a battery charged. I want to check these lights out and Im sure its going to have indicators. I might remove them. If you can have them both flashing, then I might leave it like that.
Modification Challenges
Also, I think, Im going to put the rear cover on looks like you just have to cut them holes, oh theres, two on the roof as well youre going to put that cover on you got to commit to putting holes in the body thats yeah, bit of A shame as well, I suppose, quite heavy, that body with all that stuff on and now with that on right, then battery in Ive had a look Ive put a few little labels on here here, so I know which is which.
Understanding the Functions
Its in low gear at the Moment, diffs open Channel 7 locks the front so now now locks that that Servo there channel eight is that one and that locks the rear. This is your dig and front. Wheeel drive function so in the middle normal Drive, flick it Forward front wheel, drive only and leaves the rear to well to free roll all the way back, and this is now a dig function – Ill show you that when were out and about, but if youre, using A dig function, you need the diffs locked.
Concerns about the TRX4
Obviously, if the diffs are open, the wheels are still going to move so lock them up and then thats your dig function, so it locks the back with only the front running.

The Issue of Indicators and Rear Lights
Where is the switch so its just that switch there turns them on were going to have were going to have indicators. A lot of you uh in the comments, go theres, nothing wrong with indicators, but when you drive your car down the street, when you turn your steering wheel, do the indicators come on? They dont do they. They dont come on when youre. Turning your steering wheel, a few people dont understand my issue indicators. Well, this is my problem when youre on a trail youre just making some fine adjustments.
The Lack of Rear Lights
Look, this is the issue. Why have we not got rear lights? Front lights are on right. We got reverse lights in red. We got no normal right. That should be okay. There must be a way to have them rear lights on all the time and your indicators. Flashing has got to be super easy, obviously just snip the wires for the indicators left them ones in there, so kind of, like them ones, theyre, pretty cool and on the rear.
Modification for Rear Lights
Now, theyre on permanently with the headlights theres, actually a spare spot in the little um light controller like receiver thing at the back of the truck, I took it out the one that was like reverse and put it into the other one.
Testing the New FMS FCX10
That says, I think its. Like driving lights or something thats more like it right anyway, lets go see how this thing Music drives were at a very muddy beds, electric RC club today, I dont think this is going to be this clean.

When we finish here, correct Footwear today were definitely going to need to lock with this Chris and them Music tires really nice low down control. In that first gear cam on bit of wheel, speed, Music yeah, I was technically not Music, but wow.
Impressive Performance
This is impressing. Me looks so good on camera, honestly, so nice, what would have been nice is a clear front window and maybe an interior in there of a driver that would have just added a little bit more well a little bit more scale to it.
Functionality Testing
Look you can see through the light shining through, but I don’t use drivers if the windows are tinted I’m not sure it’s going to get up here, pretty slippery right I’ll. Give you a demo of the dig for those that don’t know what it is. If I put you like that, you should see it better.
Off-Roading Excitement
Look look at that. Well, turn on a dime Music, the Music going and see how it does on some rocks. Oh mud, I love Music mud. I shouldn’t have got the tires day before I try.
Challenges on the Terrain
The rocks – oh, it’s still climbing bit top heavy. I think for this kind of stuff, but we’ll come on well that sun’s right in my way, dig was handy over there on the mud to get around the corners bit more cuz. It will drop that re left down dip going that’s it now off the digging.

Impressive Features
So there you go the new FCX 10. I am very impressed with this drives really nice. I absolutely love the Dig function. I know its a little bit gimmicky, but it is actually really handy when youre trailing um to get that front end round now it is more a trail truck than a rock crawler.
Performance on the Rocks
However, even with the stock tires, it didnt do too bad and the cracks that were already in it did get a little bit worse. Theres a few rolls on the rocks, and one of them rolls also put a crack on that side. So a nice thick Lex and body, but it is a little bit fragile, so just be careful on them rocks.
Possible Rivalry with TRX4
