You know like little little bumblebees. You can hardly see them, so this is kind of a crossover uh where it can uh. You can do the indoor, your your you can do your backyard. You can do your outdoor and but still not spend a whole lot of money, so 200 bucks for this one and it has the LiPo battery no charger complete and they have a couple other versions of it: a a kit with no electronics and a carbon fiber Version before I just focus on the car, I want to give you a size comparison and the company raro, who is this guy, so basically the WL toys, the first raro vehicles that I saw were WL toys, uh versions that they customized uh. This is, this is one of them, and so they do their flavor. They do a pretty good job packaging. It up – and I said, okay, whatever at least its a company that has Parts uh and will answer your your uh emails. When you have a problem, not like all those Amazon vendors that are invisible so here it is uh its a little bigger. These are all 112, but because of the monster truck it has, you know a bigger size and the drop test. It drops pretty good all right. So here is the chassis. The remote is pretty nice four Channel system. It does have lights in the front, very good, so Ill. Give you a lot of Pros whats going on so the first time I opened it up Im all like wow.

Rlaarlo Omni Terminator 1/12 Monster Truck Exterior
This looks like one of those eight scale buggies that I used to play with, so the standouts are from the outside. The tires are really nice: uh not not stiff, perfect tension, uh nice rubber. They are vented uh on the rim, so pretty cool. The bumpers are very nice and compact, but they do have an amazing suspension system on it so that whole triangulation, that is meant to bend and take the hits thats both in the front and the rear.

The shocks are a standout feature on this Monster Truck. I’ve never seen shocks like this on a little cheap Chinese vehicle. These are First Rate shocks, very nicely damped. The shock towers look like 4 mm aluminum 7075, which adds to the durability of the truck. The suspension system overall is well-built and sturdy, meant to withstand rough terrains and jumps.

Just so, you can use a full length battery and you do have a couple other straps uh, for that it does have fans for both the ESC and the motor, which is very unusual and the real highlight of this vehicle. It is. It has three differentials that are beefy, so we have one differential here in the front one on the rear and one in the center. The center one is the kind of mind blowing one, because you dont see that uh, unless its really big, bigger, more powerful vehicles and what does the center differential do? It really allows it to put the power to the the the the tire that needs it most. The one thats not slipping, so the handling is very good in all kind of different conditions. Also, when youre Landing, you know it doesnt torque, the the uh. You know the the wheels under load, so it it. It saves your vehicle all right. We have the Arlo.
Road Test and Performance
Okay on to the road test, first test is the speed test, so we have the stock 16 to pinion, gearing theres an option on the in the Box 19 tooth, but we just ran it stock and it the 37 miles an hour. Initially, our pinion was tight, but we got that fixed and it got going and thats s 3s. The stock battery. We tried a one of our own batteries, not you know just a 30C and it it went a little faster and right here were just showing how nice and straight it goes, and then we start doing some jumps.

So these are tough jumps, because the jump is as wide as the car but flies pretty good. It lands even better its a little nose heavy. So you can see there as soon as you let go of the throttle. It drops the nose so a little bit of learning curve, or it would be nice if theres a little more rear weight to this.
Weight Distribution
I think most vehicles have a rear bias like a 58 to 42, and here we got a wet. Why not huh so brushless electronic should be good in the water. The receiver is completely in a sealed box. We should check that by the way, but a lot of nice passes after a while in very deep water. It would just stop slow down and then it would turn itself off so not completely waterproof. Not unreasonable, though.
Water Resistance
Here were just testing the handling, and this is where it is really impressive. It is running like a 10 scale, buggy uh. It runs straight. It turns very tightly with its fast Servo and it doesnt it doesnt flip over and right here.
Differential System
This is the the rear differential uh front differential you can tell by holding one all the power will go to the other side and then I hold the rears and all the power goes to the front. So that is your three differential system. My uh front tire came unglued right there, so that is a weakness, should have a better glue job and jump into the water.

Performance Overview
Why not huh – I’m not sure why I won’t wanted to do that, but it’s been raining so much here in NorCal going a little uh s crazy with cabin fever. So here it is – the Rlaarlo Omni Terminator 1/12 Monster Truck. It did stop working again, but when it gets dunked, all right, we go to a new venue with some dirt and moisture for good traction. No gyro on this guy, but it runs well with a three differential system and nice tires. The good tolerances make it a really nice drive, no need for a gyro. It runs smoothly without sacrificing steering radius.
Strengths
This is our RC track, where we were super bored. The track was very rough for little cars, but this monster truck just ran lap after lap without flipping over. The stabilizer bars really helped in keeping it steady through the rough terrain. We pushed it hard, rallying through the obstacles, and it handled the bumps with ease. The shock oil is heavy, providing stability over jumps and rough terrain. It’s built like a tank, ready to take on any challenge.
Key Weaknesses
The only downside we observed was that the shocks did not move as much as expected. Despite the heavy shock oil, the movement was limited, which could affect the truck’s performance on extremely rough terrains where more flexibility is required. This is something to consider if you plan on tackling very bumpy tracks regularly.

But this thing is that good uh, you you’ll, enjoy it more without gyro, because when you have a gyro it’ll keep it straight. But then you can’t turn as tight anyway, and here the it tracks so straight, and it turns so tight and the servo is super good that it’s pretty darn amazing, so it just doesn’t need any upgrades. By the way I forgot to tell you it has stabilizer bars front and rear, and that’s why it handles so good, it’s just amazing and good tires on this one as well so 38 miles an hour on stock gearing before you even put the good gearing is good.
Key Weaknesses
The weaknesses I would say number one is it’s great that they have the extra pinion, but they should have put the 19 to pinion instead of the 16 uh, because with a 3s battery this is it really fulfills. The potential of this vehicle you know with has enough torque and it has enough speed and it it’s able to just wheelie for days and just do loops and you go over 40 mil an hour so and then give you the option to go 16 if you are going to do a lot of really rough stuff or rapid acceleration stuff.
The second weakness I would say is that it’s over damped overdamped, meaning uh this. This is just too heavy um.

The heavy oil shock oil, if they’re, going to just slam this vehicle day in day out, but for like responsiveness and smooth ride, little lighter shock oil would be good compared to all my other monster trucks. This had the heaviest shock oil relative to its weight.

Alright, the third weakness is, I say the battery uh is very restrictive. You know the fact that I couldnt uh, I could barely use you know standard batteries. I don’t know how you’re going to find a battery this small in 3s size. So you know to their credit, they give you a they. They allow you to take this thing off the the ESC and put it somewhere else, but there really is no room for it. You can just kind of Jer rig it here uh, so you could put have a a bigger battery, so super tight uh. This thing I wish there was a a little better solution to the to that real estate issue, because this thing um getting to the next weakness – is battery constrained uh.
