The Impressive Features of the Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator

This is the one everyone is talking about. The Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator looks seriously impressive. With 7075 parts, carbon fiber, and a claimed top speed of up to 50 mph, this truck is promising a lot on paper.

The Three Different Versions

The Omni-Terminator is available in three different versions. The carbon fiber version, being the top-end model, comes with some upgrades that make it stand out from the rest.

The Stylish Design

One of the things that make the Omni-Terminator so appealing is its understated yet cool design. The stealth black color scheme, front bumper with an LED light bar, rear bumper, roof skids, body clip retainers, and wing mirrors all add to the overall aesthetic of the truck. It’s clear that Rlaarlo has put a lot of thought into the design of this vehicle.

Durable Body Build

Under the body, the Omni-Terminator feels incredibly strong. The material used is of high quality, ensuring that this truck can withstand the wear and tear of off-road adventures.

The Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator: A Closer Look at the Features

So, of course, we have amazing oil filled adjustable shocks, wow. They feel good and they are really smooth, just as you would expect from ralo. We even get Shar cat protectors, something I’ve only really seen on larger cars. We have 7075 shock towers, front and rear a metal chassis with these really cool plastic side guards.

Quality Build: Materials and Design

Now, as you would expect on a truck of this price, we have hex Hardware throughout a carbon fiber chassis, brace. We even get some carbon fiber reinforcement on the suspension, arms and the Plastics on this do feel really well made. We have metal cvds at the front metal dog bones on the rear, adjustable turnbuckles.

Premium Components: Electronics and Performance

Of course, we have bullberry in throughout and a metal front and rear diff and under there this one even has a metal center diff, something that you rarely see on a car of this size. The tires do feature a sticky compound, but they do feel kind of firm, so I’m interested to see how they’ll perform later.

Advanced Electronics: Power and Control

Next up, let’s talk about the electronics. This one has the 60 amp 2 to 3s ready ESC. This also has the bigger 3650 motor down there. We have an 11 kg steering servo once again we’ll test that out later, this is really cool. It looks like we’ve got a sealed receiver box. Here we have the battery tray. Now this isn’t very big. This will easily accommodate the included 2200 Mah 3s, but if you want more space to fit a bigger pack, you absolutely can and Rlaarlo includes everything you need in the Box to get that done now.

The Transmitter

This is the upgraded transmitter that comes with the Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator. It features carbon fiber construction and includes features such as steering, trim, and throttle trim. The receiver also has a built-in gyro that can be adjusted using the transmitter, providing one-handed driving capabilities. With a foam grip on the wheel, this transmitter offers a comfortable and precise control experience.

Power Options

The Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator can be powered using 4 AA batteries, or you have the option to use a 2S lipo battery or an 18650 battery for added power and performance. This flexibility in power options allows you to customize your driving experience to suit your preferences and needs.

Accessories

When you unbox the Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator, you’ll find a variety of accessories included to enhance your driving experience. From a wheelie bar to longer velcro straps for the battery tray, Rlaarlo has thought of everything. The included decal sheet and spare gaskets for the differentials ensure that you can customize and maintain your truck with ease.

Metal Upgrades

For those who enjoy upgrading their vehicles with metal parts, Rlaarlo has you covered with an upgrade guide and a range of metal components available. Whether you’re looking for increased durability or a more customized look, these metal upgrades provide a high-quality option for enhancing the performance and appearance of your Omni-Terminator.

The Size and Appearance

Here we have our black and white manual. Here we have the included 2200 Mah 3s, so I’ve now got the wheelie bar fitted. Look at that, that looks really cool. Ralo haven’t included a battery charger this time. Just bear that in mind.

Comparison with Other Trucks

If you are looking to buy one of these trucks, we need to talk about the size of this truck because a lot of people thought it was going to be 1/10th scale, but it’s actually closer to 1/12th scale. I was kind of disappointed myself because I would have liked this to have been slightly larger. Now, I’m going to show you some of the other popular trucks out there compared to this.

This is the very popular mjx hypergo truy and, as you can see, the hypergo is a bit smaller. Here we have Ralo’s amd2 12, and the amd2 is very close in size because that is 1/12 scale. Then we have the Team Associated Rival Mt10. The Rival Mt10 is considered a small 1/10 scale, and as you can see, the Omni Terminator is quite a bit smaller than the Mt10. Finally, here’s a comparison against the Maverick Quantum 2 flux. Once again, as you can see, the Maverick is slightly larger. So, this truck is smaller than some of the very popular options out there.

Unique Appeal

But does it make it a bad choice? Not really, because of its unique size, I think it’s going to appeal to a lot of people, especially people who have trouble transporting larger RC cars around. So let’s power on the transmitter and the truck, and you can hear the fan spinning up on this and up at the front there.

The NEW Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator: Features and Performance

We have a very bright LED light bar that adds a cool factor to the overall look of the truck. The steering servo is responsive and quick, making it easy to maneuver through various terrains with precision.

2S and 3S Speed Test

Let’s put the Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator to the test and see how fast it can go straight out of the box on both 2S and 3S batteries. Starting with a 2S speed test, we will see what this truck is capable of even without any upgrades.

Impressive Performance

Even on a damp day, the Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator grips well, thanks to its sticky tires. Despite not having the speed pinion fitted, the truck shows a decent speed on 2S power. The overall performance is impressive considering the out-of-the-box configuration.

The NEW Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator: A Closer Look

25. 2. 6. Maybe it may be slower. I think 3s is going to be where this thing gets exciting right lets, bring it back lets see what we got so lets hit. Stop and read: 25.

Speed and Performance

I was bang on 25 mph right out the box on 2s right, so moving on lets see what it can do. On 3s Ive started the GPS, so this time were using the included 3s battery, and it is slippery today, but were going to try and get a decent run out of this 3s is definitely a lot quicker. This truck does handle well now. I know this truck is obviously a bit smaller, but it really reminds me of the big rock 6s that I tested recently thats Full Throttle not too bad. Will we see 40 out of this Full Throttle again right lets bring it back, lets see what we got going to hit, stop and read 38 mph.

Offroad Performance

Now, after doing the speedruns, I wanted to see how this truck would perform Offroad, and I already knew this is where this truck would shine. Dont get me wrong. I love going fast Offroad, but theres way more to an RC car than speed handling. For me is one of the most important and overlooked areas when it comes to RC cars, so this truck performed really well Offroad and I was running it on 3s that steering servo does a really good job. Power feels nice on 3s and what I really love about this truck is how well it handles, and I do find slightly smaller trucks can be a little bit easier to throw around now.

The Build Quality

Ralo has truly outdone themselves with the new Omni-Terminator. The build quality is top-notch and it really shows in the overall performance of the RC car.

Size and Capability

The Omni-Terminator is larger than the popular MJX Hypergo Truy, which automatically makes it more capable. The higher ground clearance allows it to handle rough terrains like large rocks with ease.

Shock Absorbers

One of the standout features of the Omni-Terminator is its shocks. They are fantastic and provide a smooth and stable ride, making it ideal for those looking for a well-built and fast RC car that is easy to transport.

Value for Money

Is it worth spending the extra money on the Omni-Terminator? Absolutely. The larger size, excellent performance, and durability make it a worthwhile investment, especially for those who prefer something bigger.

Overall Verdict

The Ralo Omni-Terminator is a great option for those seeking a slightly larger RC car with impressive speed and off-road handling capabilities. With no need for immediate upgrades straight out the box, this is a well-rounded option that delivers on all fronts.
