On the other hand, the Traxxas Xmax required the purchase of two batteries, a charger, and several upgrades, such as aluminium shock caps, HD arms, a front bumper, and an EXO cage from T Bone Racing, totaling around $3000.

So what we are going to do in this video is, we need to test and see whether it is really worth it to go with the 3000 RC car or, if you can just buy 20 of the mjx 16208. Now lets look at what the two vehicles are going to going to be running on, so the Traxxas xmax is going to be running on two of its 6700 Mah hour 4S LiPO batteries, one on each side that will make it 8s and then the mjx will Be running on a 3s 1000 Mah hour, 45C discharge rate battery from Jans Ace. Now this was not included in the price I bought that extra, and that is why the car cost me about 180, just to satisfy the x max Fanboys Im going to take off this body and Im going to install the green body. That does not have a exo cage mounted on it, so this one should not have any more drag than what the stock one would have so well put that on and well do the speed test lap on the green body.

Now a lot of you are going to say, but JRE, how do you compare a 3s vehicle versus an 8s vehicle? I mean like Kevin, always says: more SS means more power, yes, but is that going to be the case today? I dont know lets see whether the 8sx max is going to beat the 3s mjx, but I think it should be interesting to see whether all of that money is going to get you a faster car.

So, I’m going to start off with the Xmax to see what the benchmark is going to be for the MJX to reach. Let’s just see that the GPS is measuring speed. Yes, it’s looking good at eight miles per hour. I’m not too sure what the Xmax gets usually, but let’s see what we can expect here today with the Xmax. Really excited, let’s go right, that’s full tilt just to get used to it a little bit again. As you guys know, an Xmax is not the easiest vehicle to drive around a V-drove, for example, let’s bring it back. That’s absolutely full tilt on the Xmax. Jeez, but it looks good going around here.
