Preparing the PR Racing PRS1RM Buggy
After months of waiting and dealing with troublesome electronics, the PR Racing PRS1RM Buggy is finally ready to hit the track. The journey to this point has been filled with challenges and setbacks, but now it’s time to focus on preparing the buggy for some racing action.
Painting the Body
The first order of business is to paint up the body of the buggy. With the body cut out but unpainted, it’s essential to give it a fresh coat of paint to make it stand out on the track. Sanding around the edges is crucial to ensure a clean finish before applying the paint.
Applying Liquid Mask
Using Liquid Mask to create intricate designs on the body of the buggy is a risky move, considering previous failures with the same product. However, despite the challenges, it is worth attempting to use Liquid Mask again to add a personal touch to the buggy’s appearance.
Fitting the Electronics
With the body painted and the Liquid Mask applied, the next step is to fit the electronics into the buggy. After the troubles faced previously, it’s crucial to carefully install the electronics to avoid any further issues that may hamper the buggy’s performance on the track.
Ready for Racing Action
After overcoming numerous obstacles and setbacks, the PR Racing PRS1RM Buggy is finally ready for some racing action. The process of getting the buggy to this point has been filled with challenges, but now it’s time to focus on the thrill of racing and see how the buggy performs on the track.
Experimenting with Painting Techniques
Really. I should try a main brand see if that actually improves things as well, as put it on a lot. Thicker, which is what Im going to try and do now, so I put down three really thick coats with a paintbrush. I will try and airbrush it at some point, but I wanted it to be nice and thick as last time.
Learning from Mistakes
I tried this. It was too thin, then I pinned out the design that I wanted to go with and once I started cutting out with a scalpel, I realized yeah, its just total garbage, so Ill go back to doing the masking for this one and then Ill buy some proper Main brand stuff and try again.
Improving the Design
So I just went for basically black along the back. I was playing around with trying to do like tear marks to see whether I could actually do some of those. Now after I went round and scalped around the drips. Actually it wasnt too bad. I was reasonably happy with it and I think I would do it again.
Future Plans
But since this video I actually have picked up some preut ones that Im going to try again with which I think would be even better now. One thing I think I should have done was actually Edge the drips. If you look here, you can see the black and the blue, it needs a contrast between the two of them so next time Ill. Do a drip then Ill.
Testing the PR Racing PRS1RM Buggy
Do an EDG in line in a vibrant color, then back it in the black. I think that would improve it so were out with the PR Racing and were at the skate park before you. Panic, no Im, obviously not going to take this around the skate park. Im just bringing it out to test it, as I put some new electronics in it, and I wanted to confirm its going to work as it should do before we go racing. Applause, Music, Applause, Music Applause, go Music Applause, Music, Applause, Music, Applause, w.
Shakedown at the Track
So there you go, the shakedown went rather well and I had no issues with the electronics so now I know that when I take it racing Im actually going to be able to get you. Some footage which I did so lets see how we got on now. Believe it or not, Im running a cheap, brushed motor and a very basic ESC that came from a Tamia kit. I just needed to get it up running and I didnt want to rip loads of electronics off of something else and, as you can see, it handles pretty well its actually very Nimble, and it was turning in really sharply and I was actually running another buggy at This event – and that was very different, so I did struggle with jumping from one to the other, so in some of the footage, youll see Im turning in way too fast and clipping Corners thats, just because Im going from one car to the other because of all The modern underpinnings – this is a really good one for a younger person getting into RC who likes the look of the Vintage buggies.
Impressions Out of the Box
I was really impressed with it and Id spent no time trying to dial this car in; what you’re seeing is actually Straight Out of the Box. The shocks, I really like those – they behaved brilliantly and the car had loads of front end bite. So it was turning in way more than what I was used to, so just by dialing down the steering on the transmitter, I think I could have got this set up even better.
Modern Features
I really liked it. I think you’ve got a real fusion between modern buggy and vintage looks. The shocks on it are lovely – they really do feel more modern, as well as the actual chassis.
Recommendation
I can recommend this buggy, so there you go, there’s just a quick look at the PR Racing PRS1RM! Now, what do I honestly think about it? I think it’s a great option, especially at this price point. I was really happy with it.
Comparing with Other Options
If I was going to buy one of the three – the Goova, the Dirt Master, or this one – which one would I go with? Well, it depends on looks, but I think they’re all kind of unique in their own way. The Goova is probably my favorite looking one, this one coming in a close second, and then the Dirt Master. I think the rear spoiler looks a bit off, but I’ve seen it changed to be higher and looks much better anyway.
Choosing the PR Racing PRS1RM Buggy
When it comes to taking your buggy to the track, the PR Racing PRS1RM stands out as the top choice. With its exceptional performance straight out of the box, this buggy is sure to impress even the most seasoned racers. The suspension, in particular, sets it apart from the competition, delivering a smooth and responsive ride that is crucial on the track.
Why PR Racing PRS1RM Stands Out
Compared to other options on the market, the PR Racing PRS1RM simply outshines the competition. While the goova comes in as a close second, it requires significant upgrades to match the performance of the PRS1RM. As for the dirt master, it falls behind in terms of performance, making it the third choice for serious racers.
