The satisfaction I derive from this buggy is immeasurable, my friends. It truly is a big, fat, daddy ft. The body is a sight to behold, pleasingly elegant. Although the lights may add a touch of pizzazz, I prefer to remove them. It is a well-known fact that lights drain power, and when it comes to this beast, I need every ounce of energy I can get.
But let’s not be distracted by the bling on the front. It may be eye-catching, but that’s not the focus of today’s video. Ladies and gentlemen, this video is all about the D5 buggy, the Rovan D5. You may have seen glimpses of it in my previous work, carefully preserved in its Billet casing. I wanted to show it off to you, to give you a taste of what’s to come.

Now, let’s get down to business. It’s time to fire up the Rovan D5 and feel the power course through its veins. We power up the radio, setting the stage for an electrifying experience. And then, we prime the engine, preparing it for the ride of a lifetime.
The Initial Setup
I began by priming the carb of the Rovan D5 engine. It is crucial to properly prime the engine before starting it. The weather was a bit chilly at around 40 degrees, so the engine needed some extra attention to start up smoothly. After a few primes, the engine roared to life.
Tuning the Carburetor
As the engine idled, I noticed that it was running a bit too fast. To fix this issue, I had to adjust the low-end fuel mixture to make it richer, providing more fuel to slow down the idle speed. Making this adjustment would ensure a smoother idle and prevent stalling.

To my surprise, the linear pipe installed in the Rovan D5 engine performed exceptionally well. The engine produced a thunderous sound that echoed through the surroundings.
