Well, except for the AXIAL SCX6, which happens to be one of my personal favorites. However, the release of the AXIAL CJ7 might just give us a glimpse of where Axial is heading in the coming year.

I am keeping my fingers crossed, hoping to see an SCX24 with a CJ7 body. And if that’s not enough, an SCX6 with a CJ7 body would be absolutely fantastic. Armored plates and light kit
So the first thing to notice is the armored plates that are installed around the back fenders of the AXIAL CJ7. This adds a sense of durability and protection to the vehicle. Additionally, the body Clips have been removed to make it easier to remove the plates when needed. On the inside, you can see that the light kit is fully installed. There are two LEDs in the back, two LEDs in the front where the headlights are, and two amber lower markers. These markers are not indicator lights, so they won’t blink when turning the truck left or right.
The Spectrum Dx3 Radio
The radio that comes with the AXIAL CJ7 is quite familiar-looking. It is called the Spectrum Dx3 Radio, a three-channel radio that features a foam wheel for comfortable driving. There is also a bit of an extender, which can come in handy for single-handed driving. One interesting feature of this radio is the battery level indicator. If you have installed a Spectrum Smart battery, you can easily see the battery level on your radio. All the trim switches and the juwal rate are conveniently located on the radio. There are also on/off switches at the back and a bind button at the front. The best part is that this radio is already bound from the factory, so there’s no need to go through any complicated setup processes. The radio requires four AA batteries, which are included with the Stanley tumbler in the extras bag.

Mickey Thompson Tires and Rais Line Rims
You will be able to tackle some cool terrain with this thing as it is these Mickey Thompson tires. These are new for axial. Also, these rais Line rims. I have not seen these before all – looks really good, but there is room for improvement.
Choosing the Right Tires
So what I will be doing, especially after dropping this truck a tiny bit, I do risk, perhaps rubbing them on the inside of these uh CJ, specific fenders, So to avoid that Im going to mount a slightly less tall tire and also slightly narrower. So I came up with mounting these Tojo Open Country RTS by Proline racing uh.
The Perfect Fit
These sit on a spec, RC Rim, really cool, and I think it will also go really well within that blue paint Scheme sticker scheme thats, going on on the outside of that jeep body, so thats, something that I will look into uh on the bottom.
High-Quality Components
A lot of familiar looking stuff, so you get the the thicker directional links uh, both in the top and in the bottom uh stainless steel also steering links and drag link. Everything is a nice stainless steel, everything in the highest quality, so nothing like you would find it, for example, in the base camp, which is more of an entry level, uh truck and then also new for this, this truck is that uh, pan heart link is done Up in metal, so you dont have to worry about snapping.
Easy Installation
This, like you, would perhaps have been with the Jeep jlu um, do keep in mind that it is a bit of a pain in the butt to put this body back on so theres a difference over here on these uh bumpers.
Improving the Design
When it comes to the AXIAL CJ7, there are a few things to consider in terms of its design and functionality. One notable aspect is the positioning of the pins. While they point upwards at the back, they point downwards at the front. As a result, it requires a bit of wiggling to ensure a proper fit onto the chassis. This may take some practice, but as with anything, practice makes perfect.
