The Unboxing Experience
When opening the box of the Mukola $130 Brushless RC Truck, I was immediately greeted with excitement. The packaging seemed sturdy and well-designed, giving a promising first impression.
Inside the box, I found the truck itself, which looked sturdy and well-built. The design was sleek and impressive, showcasing its four-wheel drive capabilities. However, it was not just the truck that caught my attention. There was also an additional set of paddle tires included, adding to the excitement of what this RC monster truck could do.
The Controller
Upon further inspection, I discovered the controller that came with the truck. It was a fairly basic controller, with features such as steering trim and steering dual rate. The on/off button was large and easily accessible. However, it is worth noting that the controller did not come with batteries, requiring me to provide three AA batteries before I could start using it.
The controller also had a channel 3 switch and a high-medium-low setting. Looking at the manual, I realized that it offered a variety of options for customization. It had normal steering and proportional throttle, and the size of the controller felt comfortable in my hand. Overall, it seemed like a controller both kids and adults could enjoy using.
Taking it for a Spin
Now, it was time to take the Mukola Brushless RC Truck for a test drive. I eagerly took it outside and set it on the ground, ready to see what it was capable of. As I accelerated, the truck swiftly moved forward, its four-wheel drive system providing ample power and control.
I decided to test its off-road capabilities, taking it through some sand and snow. I switched to the paddle tires that were included, and they proved to be a game-changer. The truck effortlessly maneuvered through the challenging terrains, leaving me impressed with its performance. It was clear that Mukola had designed a truck that could handle various environments with ease.
Unboxing
Upon opening the package, the first thing that caught my attention was the lack of complaints. It seems that Mukola has managed to impress right from the start. And why wouldn’t they? Inside the bag, not only did I find one extra battery, but two! These spare batteries are a welcome addition and provide ample playtime. But that’s not all, folks. There’s a third battery hidden inside the truck itself, bringing the total to three. Kudos to Mukola for providing such generosity.
The Batteries
Let’s talk about these lithium-ion batteries for a moment. With a capacity of 1500 mAh and two cells, they promise to deliver a powerful performance. What I particularly appreciate is the use of a standard Dean plug or T plug, along with a balance port. While the provided USB chargers are functional, they are rather slow. However, the good news is that with the right hobby-grade charger, you can significantly reduce the charging time. While it may take a couple of hours with the provided charger, a hobby-grade charger can get the job done in just about 15 minutes. If you’re looking for an upgrade, I’ll leave a link below to a recommended charger that I personally use and vouch for.
The Instruction Manual
Included in the package is an instruction manual, which serves as a beginner’s guide to the vehicle. It covers various aspects of the truck, from operating instructions to assembly diagrams and even part numbers. This multilingual manual is a thoughtful addition that caters to users from different backgrounds. Whether you’re a seasoned RC enthusiast or a newcomer to the hobby, this manual has got you covered.

The inclusion of two spare batteries is a testament to the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. The use of lithium-ion batteries and a standard plug system is a thoughtful choice that allows for faster charging with the right equipment. The instruction manual proves to be an invaluable resource, providing detailed information for both beginners and experienced users.
In terms of performance, the truck delivers on all fronts. The brushless motor ensures a powerful and smooth acceleration, while the adjustable suspension provides stability on various terrains. Whether you’re a seasoned RC enthusiast or someone looking to explore the world of remote-controlled vehicles, this brushless RC truck from Mukola is definitely worth considering.

Unboxing the $130 Brushless RC Truck
Upon opening the package, I noticed a range of useful items included. Firstly, there was a spare front bumper support, which is always handy if you encounter any issues with the vehicle. Additionally, there was a cross wrench included, which is great for easily removing and securing the wheels of the RC truck. A small Phillips screwdriver was also part of the package, ensuring that you have the necessary tools for any adjustments or repairs. However, as I delved further into the bag, a few loose items fell out. These turned out to be spring clips, which I assume are used for specific parts of the vehicle. There were also additional body clips and a couple of screws, which may come in handy in case any of them go missing. Lastly, I noticed the presence of a wheelie bar, and I am guessing that the screws provided will be used to attach it, along with the wing that has not been installed yet.
Installing the Wing
To begin setting up the RC truck, I decided to install the wing first. The process was surprisingly simple. The wing had a specific direction in which it had to be placed, so I carefully laid it over the wing mount. Using a Phillips screwdriver, I securely screwed it in. It was a quick and hassle-free installation, which is definitely a plus.
A Closer Look at the Vehicle
Upon examining the RC truck, I couldn’t help but notice some familiar elements. In all honesty, it bears resemblance to other vehicles we have reviewed, particularly those from high boxing and hosome tires. The control arms, in particular, seem to be similar and impressively sturdy. They also appear to be the same for both the front and rear, which means that if one of them were to break, it would be convenient to have spare parts readily available.
Testing the $130 Brushless RC Truck
Now, let’s move on to the exciting part: testing the performance of the Mukola RC truck. Powered by a brushless motor, I had high expectations for its speed and agility. As soon as I turned it on, I could feel the power coursing through the vehicle. The acceleration was incredibly quick, and the truck effortlessly reached high speeds. It handled the uneven terrain with ease, thanks to its well-built suspension. The tires provided great traction, allowing the RC truck to smoothly navigate through various obstacles. The overall performance of this truck was truly impressive, making it worth every penny of its $130 price tag.
Metal Hubs and Bearings
What I’m seeing here immediately are metal hubs at the corners of the RC truck. This is a good sign as metal hubs provide better durability compared to plastic ones. Additionally, I can see that the truck is equipped with bearings, which further enhances its performance and longevity.
Thick Drive Shafts and Bumpers
The drive shafts on all four corners of the truck are noticeably thick, indicating a robust construction. This is essential for handling the power of the brushless motor. Moreover, there are metal hubs on the rear as well, ensuring that the truck can withstand rough terrains and jumps. The big bumper on the rear adds an extra layer of protection.
LED Lights and Body Design
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that there are small LEDs integrated into the truck’s body. This feature adds a cool visual effect and enhances the overall appeal of the vehicle. Speaking of the body, it has a more standard truggy style, which is commonly seen in RC off-road trucks. The body also exhibits a slight bounce, indicating that the shocks are non-oil filled.
Tire Issues and Weight Considerations
One downside I noticed is that all the tires came with dents. This is likely due to the packaging process, but I believe they will level out once the truck is in use. These tires are non-foam filled, which means they are simply empty rubber shells. While this may not provide the best traction, it should be sufficient for the weight of the vehicle. However, it would have been nice to see oil-filled shocks for better control.
Battery Installation and Steering
To install the battery, you just need to pull out a pin and remove a strap that holds it down. This design seems convenient and user-friendly. On the steering side of the truck, there is a micro-size servo connected to the steering linkage. It’s great to see that it’s a three-wire servo, as it would make upgrading or replacing it easier in the future.
In conclusion, the $130 Brushless RC Truck from Mukola has some impressive features such as metal hubs, thick drive shafts, and a sturdy bumper. The presence of LED lights adds a nice touch to the overall design. However, the non-oil-filled shocks and dented tires are slight drawbacks. Nonetheless, with proper usage and maintenance, this RC truck should provide an enjoyable off-road experience.
ESC and receiver 2 in1 unit
It looks like a ESC and receiver 2 in1 unit, so this means it is control, getting the signals from the controller and doing the output to the motor all at the same time, on a higher end vehicle. These will be actually two separate, discrete components, um and Im, starting to see them on some of these more budget models, starting to come that way.
Durable Design
This is this is a little bit older design. We have this, it feels metal looks like it might be. Aluminum center support, brace right here that should help with durability. Usually, if you have something like that, plus this tub child style chassis at the bottom means this core chassis is going to be very, very durable.
LED Lights
I see some wires coming up here to those LEDs. So again, that makes me think were going to be able to turn those on here in a minute.
High-Quality Components
According to the information about the vehicle, it is all metal gears. All metal Drive Line, ball bearings throughout. So that is really great really great to see you should have zero durability. Issues from the drive line.
Powering it Up
Lets go ahead and get this battery in and fire it up with the batteries in the controller Im going to go ahead and turn this on. You always turn the controller on before you turn the vehicle on that way. As soon as it comes in, it will not have any kind of stray signals or want to run away plug this in plug the battery in and then were going to hold.
Unboxing the Mukola Brushless RC Truck
Upon unboxing the Mukola Brushless RC Truck, I noticed that it made a small sound. As I inspected further, I discovered that it came with lights and functional steering. These features instantly caught my attention and raised my anticipation for the upcoming test.
Testing the RC Truck’s Performance
According to the manual, the controller had a channel 3 button that allowed me to change the light settings. I could set it to slow, flash, fast flash, or even turn it off completely. Exploring the functionalities of the RC truck, I came across the switch that offered high, medium, and low power output from the ESC (Electronic Speed Control). It was interesting to find out that these switches didn’t directly correspond to gears, but rather determined the power output of the truck.
Driving Experience and Capability
I decided to take the RC truck for a spin and test its driving capabilities. Starting with the low power setting, the truck demonstrated decent speed and maneuverability. Switching to medium, it became noticeably faster and more thrilling to drive. Finally, in the high power mode, the truck reached its full potential, zooming through obstacles with impressive speed and control. The exhilarating experience of driving the RC truck in high power mode left me in awe.
Performance on Different Terrains
One of the most commonly asked questions about RC trucks is whether they can handle various terrains, including grass. Despite the fact that my grass was relatively low and dead due to the winter season, the Mukola Brushless RC Truck proved itself to be more than capable. Its power and performance were unaffected by the grassy surface, allowing for seamless maneuverability and an enjoyable driving experience.
Jumping and Acrobatics
Curiosity led me to explore the truck’s ability to perform jumps and acrobatic stunts. To my delight, it executed a flawless backflip, showcasing its agility and versatility. The landing, however, resulted in a hard impact that triggered an unusual response from the ESC. In cases of heavy front impacts, the ESC seemed to recycle the power, disconnecting and reconnecting quickly, producing a distinct sound. While this occurrence was peculiar, it did not hinder the overall enjoyment of the truck’s performance.
In conclusion, the $130 Brushless RC Truck from Mukola offers an exciting and impressive experience. With its powerful motor, versatile controls, and admirable jump capabilities, it delivers on its promise of high-speed entertainment. Furthermore, it surpasses expectations when it comes to handling different terrains, showcasing its adaptability and durability. Review
The performance of the $130 Brushless RC Truck from Mukola exceeded my expectations. Its agility and responsiveness made it a joy to drive. The suspension system absorbed bumps and jumps, providing a smooth and stable ride.
One aspect that stood out to me was its resilience. Despite landing on its nose a few times, the truck quickly reset itself and continued to perform flawlessly. It showcased remarkable durability, with no noticeable impact on drivability.
During my test drive, I decided to push the truck to its limits. I took it for a full sand jump, curious to see how far it could go. To my amazement, it soared through the air, displaying impressive aerial maneuvers. Even after a few missed attempts, the truck remained unscathed.
Another pleasant surprise was the battery life. Despite continuous driving for approximately 10 to 15 minutes, the battery held up well. This RC truck proved to be a reliable companion for longer play sessions.
After subjecting the truck to intense usage, I examined it for any signs of damage. It had acquired a few scuffs and scrapes, which is only expected given the rigorous testing it underwent. However, there were no significant issues or structural damage, reaffirming its durability.
The Durability of the $130 Brushless RC Truck from Mukola
You know it took some really nasty shots. It took some really really heavy crashes and theres literally nothing wrong with it. None of these arms are bent, none of the shocks are bent. Pins are straight bumper, still in good shape, heck the LEDs even still worked at the end of it. So that is absolutely awesome.
Minor Issues and Extra Accessories
I lost a body body clip uh one of these one of these body, Clips thats, pretty dang common and they provide you extras in the box. So thats not a big deal uh. The one thing I still do notice is that the tires still have flat spots in them. So I took the wheel off to see about these little itty bitty holes in there. I dont know if you can even see it but little itty bitty holes in the wheels those are vent holes that should allow air to come and go from the tire um.
Possible Cause of Tire Deformation
I am guessing that, just as this truck was packaged up, it had stuff pushing on all four wheels, and you know hot shipping, containers and stuff like that. It kind of deformed it and then right now outside of my house, its borderline freezing, its just above freezing. So maybe they cant quite get hot enough to to reform Im betting with continued use. These these flat spots will come out. It is a little unfortunate uh that it comes that way and that they do want to stay so badly um.

Surprisingly, the truck seemed unaffected by this, effortlessly plowing through the terrain. It was only when driving on the driveway that the vehicle’s shaking became more noticeable, but this was a minor inconvenience.
