TRAXXAS XMAXX TRUCK GOES WILD – IS THIS REALLY THE BEST RC CAR BETTER THAN ARRMA KRATON & OUTCAST ?

The Traxxas XMaxx Truck: Initial Impressions

When it comes to RC cars, the Traxxas XMaxx truck is no stranger to controversy. Many enthusiasts have debated whether it truly lives up to its reputation as the best RC car on the market, even surpassing the popular Arrma Kraton and Outcast models. Today, we will be taking the XMaxx out for its first run to see if it truly goes wild and lives up to the hype.

Unveiling the XMaxx

If you have been following our journey, you may remember that we initially had reservations about purchasing the Traxxas XMaxx. The reasons behind our reluctance can be found in our unboxing video, which you can find by clicking the link in the corner of this article. In that video, we explain the factors that ultimately led us to purchase this controversial RC truck.

Protecting the XMaxx

Before taking the XMaxx out for its inaugural run, we wanted to take a few precautions to protect the truck. Here, we introduce a product from a company called Cherry Prints. These specially designed parts are made from an incredibly flexible 3D printed material. Unlike traditional 3D printed plastic, which can often be brittle and prone to breakage, Cherry Prints’ pieces are remarkably flexible. Just take a look at the amount of flex in these parts; it’s truly impressive.

Examining the Roof Skid

One of the key components we received from Cherry Prints is the roof skid. This is a piece that is contoured to fit the roof of the XMaxx perfectly. The craftsmanship of this product is exceptional, and we can tell that a great deal of care was put into its creation. By applying the roof skid, we can protect our XMaxx from potential damage while also adding a touch of individuality.

The Importance of the Roof Protection

In order to ensure the safety of your TRAXXAS XMAXX truck, it is crucial to install a roof protection system. This involves drilling holes and using nuts and bolts to secure the protection onto the roof of the vehicle. The purpose of this protection is twofold: to safeguard the shell and to absorb shocks.

When the protection is bolted onto the vehicle, it attaches to the framework beneath, creating a secure fit. Unlike solid plastic 3D prints, this protection is made of a bendable material. This bendability allows it to absorb some of the impact when the vehicle experiences a shock on the roof. While it may not absorb all of the shock, it certainly mitigates the force and minimizes potential damage.

The Center Prop Shaft Issue

One common weak point of the TRAXXAS XMAXX truck is the center prop shaft or drive shaft. This component is prone to bending, particularly when the vehicle is reversed. To address this issue, it is highly recommended to invest in a two-piece drive shaft with a bearing in the center.

By acquiring these additional parts from trusted manufacturers such as Chey Prins, you can effectively prevent the bending of the drive shaft. The installation process involves removing the center cover of the vehicle to expose the drive shaft. Subsequently, the front and back ends of the drive shaft are detached and replaced with the new two-piece shaft. The bearing is then placed in the middle piece, ensuring proper support and stability.

The TRAXXAS XMAXX vs. ARRMA Kraton and Outcast

The TRAXXAS XMAXX truck has gained a reputation for being one of the best RC cars on the market. However, it is only fair to compare it to other popular models such as the ARRMA Kraton and Outcast to determine its true superiority.

While each car has its own strengths and weaknesses, the TRAXXAS XMAXX truck boasts several features that set it apart. Its roof protection system offers an extra layer of security and shock absorption, minimizing the risk of damage. Furthermore, the availability of a two-piece drive shaft with a center bearing ensures optimal performance and durability.

Ultimately, the decision on the best RC car comes down to personal preference and specific needs. However, considering the TRAXXAS XMAXX truck’s impressive track record and the advantages provided by its unique features, it is certainly a strong contender for the title of the best RC car on the market.

Traxxas Xmaxx Truck: The Two-Piece Drive Shaft

Just there, you can probably see that there on camera. Now this. Basically, what happens when you got a two-piece drive shaft. It gives it some play. So it’s got some Flex in it, so it doesn’t Bend um as bad as a normal drive. Shaft would I’m not saying that it won’t Bend uh just looking by research that we’ve done. However, it’s proven that it makes your drive shafts last longer and a fair few people have tried them bash these trucks hard and they have not bent them. So this was a must. Unfortunately, I haven’t brought um the twin drive shafts yet, they’re still on order. So I’m waiting for them to come.

Taking the Beast Out

However, I couldn’t wait any further. I wanted to take this Beast out so Ill. Stick the roof skin on we’ll put that on in another video and guys once this is on, we’re going to go out and give this a rip lets get into. This guys were here on location, with the truck that we never wanted to buy. The traas XM let’s see what all the hype is about. We’ve been putting it off, as you guys know, let’s see if this thing can persuade us to like it let’s get into this.

A Smooth and Quick Ride

I tell you what guys, first impression, it’s smooth and it does look quick. It’s smooth and it looks quick. We have got the GPS on there, so we will do a speed run, but it yeah, it’s quite quite smooth and it lifts.

Xmaxx vs Arrma Kraton & Outcast

Now the big question, is this Traxxas Xmaxx truck really the best RC car better than the Arrma Kraton & Outcast? It’s time to compare and analyze these beasts. The Xmaxx is known for its two-piece drive shaft, providing flexibility and durability. Its drive shafts have proven to last longer even in intense usage. On the other hand, the Arrma Kraton and Outcast have their own unique features and advancements. The Kraton boasts a powerful brushless motor and aggressive styling, while the Outcast focuses on durability and sturdiness in off-road terrains.

Each of these RC cars has its own strengths and weaknesses, and ultimately, the best one depends on personal preference and specific needs. Whether you prioritize durability, speed, or overall performance, both the Traxxas Xmaxx and the Arrma Kraton & Outcast offer a thrilling experience for RC enthusiasts.

In conclusion, while the Traxxas Xmaxx truck has impressed with its smooth ride and potential for high speed, it is essential to consider other options such as the Arrma Kraton and Outcast for a comprehensive comparison. The RC car market is filled with various choices, and each model brings its own unique features to the table. So, before making a decision, make sure to thoroughly research and understand the specific advantages and disadvantages of each option.

Traxxas XMaxx Truck Goes Wild

When it comes to RC cars, there are a few big names that stand out in the industry. Traxxas and Arrma are two such brands that have captured the attention of enthusiasts all around the world. But today, we are going to focus on the Traxxas XMaxx Truck and its performance compared to the Arrma Kraton and Outcast.

Handling and Performance

As some of you may already know, we took the Arrma Kraton ATS out on a track and it failed to wheelie on that surface. The Traxxas XMaxx, on the other hand, seems to have no trouble lifting its front wheels off the ground. However, when it comes to handling, the Kraton takes the lead. The XMaxx struggles on wet and boggy terrain, making it less maneuverable compared to the Kraton.

Speed and Power

Speed is always a crucial factor when it comes to RC cars, and both the XMaxx and Kraton deliver impressive performance. In terms of acceleration, the XMaxx seems to have a slight advantage at the start, but the top speed remains similar to that of the Kraton 8s. It’s worth noting that the XMaxx feels punchier, providing a more exhilarating experience for drivers.

The Role of ESC and Ceramic Discs

During our test drive, we encountered a situation where tapping the brakes caused the XMaxx to unexpectedly flip over. This led us to question whether the ceramic discs in the car might have played a role. However, further investigation is needed to determine if adjustments to the ESC or other factors are at play. We plan to explore this further during our next test drive with the Kraton ATS.

A Divide in Opinions

Opinions on the Traxxas XMaxx seem to be polarizing. One of our team members, Kyle, who happens to be an RC car enthusiast, has a strong dislike for Traxxas vehicles. We will be handing over the XMaxx to Kyle to gather his thoughts and see if his opinion changes after giving it a try.

In conclusion, the Traxxas XMaxx Truck offers impressive speed and power, making it a contender in the world of RC cars. However, when compared to the Arrma Kraton and Outcast, it falls short in terms of handling on wet terrain. It will be interesting to see if Kyle’s perspective shifts after testing the XMaxx, considering his preconceived notions about Traxxas. Stay tuned for his verdict!

The TRAXXAS XMAXX Truck – A Wild Ride

When it comes to remote control cars, there are a few names that stand out, and TRAXXAS is definitely one of them. Their latest offering, the XMAXX Truck, has been turning heads and creating quite a buzz in the RC car community. But is it really the best in the market? Is it better than the popular ARRMA Kraton and Outcast? Let’s find out.

Initial Impressions

Even the most skeptical RC car enthusiast is willing to give the TRAXXAS XMAXX Truck a chance. This rugged beast has the potential to change opinions and win over even the harshest critic. But can it deliver?

As our expert reviewer takes control of the XMAXX Truck, it’s clear that this is no ordinary remote control car. The braking is a bit harsh on the front end, but it’s nothing that can’t be adjusted. The controller feels surprisingly good in the hands, even though it’s a TRAXXAS controller – a sight that some thought they would never see.

The Hype

Now it’s time to see what all the hype is about. Our reviewer puts the XMAXX Truck to the test, ready to be impressed. The car starts moving, and it’s a smooth ride, almost too easy. There’s no challenge, no thrill, and that’s where the disappointment starts to set in.

Sure, the XMAXX Truck has its good points. It’s smooth, and it’s easy to handle. But for those who crave a more exhilarating experience, it falls short. It lacks that adrenaline rush that comes with the ARRMA Kraton and Outcast.

No Effort, No Fun

Our reviewer compares the XMAXX Truck to its competitors, the ARRMA Kraton and Outcast, and finds it lacking the same level of excitement. While the XMAXX Truck is effortless to drive, it gives no real satisfaction. It’s like a casual stroll in the park compared to a thrilling roller coaster ride.

The ARRMA Kraton and Outcast, on the other hand, offer a driving experience that requires skill and precision. It’s not easy, it’s not smooth, but it provides the thrill and excitement that RC car enthusiasts crave.

So, is the TRAXXAS XMAXX Truck the best RC car on the market? It may have its merits, but it falls short when compared to the ARRMA Kraton and Outcast. It lacks the challenge, the excitement, and the sheer fun that these competitors offer.

If you’re looking for an easy, hassle-free drive, the XMAXX Truck might be a suitable choice. But if you’re seeking a true adrenaline rush and a driving experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat, the ARRMA Kraton and Outcast are the ones to beat.

Is the Traxxas XMaxx Truck Really the Best RC Car?

When it comes to RC cars, there is always a debate about which one is the best. In recent times, the Traxxas XMaxx Truck has garnered a lot of attention and praise. But is it really the best RC car out there, better than the Arrma Kraton and Outcast? Let’s take a closer look at what makes the XMaxx Truck stand out.

An Ideal Beginner’s Choice

Many people appreciate the ease of driving the XMaxx Truck offers. It is incredibly user-friendly, making it suitable for beginners. While some might argue against this statement, it is undeniably an ideal choice for someone new to the world of RC cars. With its out-of-the-box functionality, it provides a great opportunity for beginners to learn and have fun.

A Truck That Delivers on Fun

Kyle, a well-known RC car enthusiast, admits that the XMaxx Truck is a blast to drive. It offers a great deal of fun right from the start. Although it may not offer the same level of challenge as other models like the Arrma Kraton and Outcast, it compensates with its smooth performance. It is perfect for those who want an enjoyable and exciting RC truck without feeling overwhelmed.

Impressive Jumping Ability

One of the standout features of the XMaxx Truck is its ability to jump. Kyle highly praises this aspect of the car, stating that it jumps really well. Upon witnessing the truck’s impressive jumps, it is difficult not to see why it receives such high praise. The XMaxx Truck’s performance in this area sets it apart from other RC cars on the market.

A Whirlwind of Fun

Kyle, while admitting that the XMaxx Truck is easy to drive, cannot conceal his enjoyment. There is no denying the sheer fun one can have with this RC car. Despite its simplicity, it offers an entertaining experience that fills the user with joy and excitement. It is evident that the XMaxx Truck delivers on its promise of a thrilling and enjoyable ride.

In conclusion, the Traxxas XMaxx Truck has secured its place as a top contender in the RC car world. While it may not be suited for those seeking a challenging and demanding experience, it unquestionably offers an incredible amount of fun. Its user-friendly nature and impressive jumping ability make it a standout choice for beginners and those looking for an entertaining drive. So, is it really the best RC car? Well, that depends on what you are looking for, but one thing is for sure – the XMaxx Truck is an absolute blast to drive.

Traxxas XMAXX Truck: A Wild Ride

There’s no denying that I’ve tried my fair share of armor and cars in the realm of RC vehicles. Other brands have come and gone, but the Traxxas XMAXX Truck has definitely left a lasting impression on me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the greatest driver out there, and I’ve had my fair share of mishaps in the field. But this beast of a truck has proven to be an unstoppable force.

Unmatched Stability

One thing that immediately caught my attention with the Traxxas XMAXX is its unparalleled stability. I’ve put this truck through some rigorous tests, and not once has it toppled over. You might find that amusing, but I believe part of the fun in RC cars is pushing them to their limits and watching them break. However, the XMAXX just refuses to be tamed. It’s too easy to drive and too stable to be toppled. It’s as if it defies the laws of gravity.

A Stunt Truck Comparison

Comparing the XMAXX to a Kraton might not be the wisest choice. The Kraton is a stunt truck, known for its impressive wheelies and acrobatics. The XMAXX, on the other hand, is more like a stone truck. Its power and stability make it better suited for conquering tough terrains and rough surfaces. While the Kraton might be the king of stunts, the XMAXX reigns supreme in its own arena.

The Outcast Challenge

For an even more captivating comparison, let’s pit the XMAXX against the Outcast. The Outcast is also a stunt truck, capable of wheeling across vast fields. If we were to put the two head-to-head, the Outcast would easily outperform the XMAXX in terms of stunts and tricks. However, the XMAXX has its own fanbase for a reason.

Pure Hardcore Bashing

The XMAXX’s true appeal lies in its ability to withstand extreme bashing. It’s no wonder why people choose to jump and push these trucks to their limits. They are built for hardcore off-roading adventures. Of course, a good wheelie bar is essential for this type of usage, and Traxxas has made the wise choice of using plastic. It may not be the sturdiest material, but it withstands the high impact of those wheelie bars without bending or snapping.

The Traxxas XMAXX Truck is not for the faint-hearted. It’s a wild ride that defies expectations and challenges other RC vehicles in its class. While it may not be the ultimate stunt truck, it is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. So, whether you’re looking for stability, endurance, or the thrill of pure hardcore bashing, the XMAXX might just be the perfect choice for you.

Adjusting the Brake Punch

The Traxxas XMAXX truck is a powerful RC car that has been garnering a lot of attention in the market. Many enthusiasts are wondering if this car lives up to the hype and if it is really better than other popular RC cars such as the Arrma Kraton and Outcast. One aspect that people are curious about is the ability to adjust the brake punch on the front end of the car.

The Hobby Rooms and Spectrums

In terms of adjusting the brake, the Traxxas XMAXX truck offers this feature, but it’s uncertain if it can be done on tracks. The hobby rooms and spectrums mentioned in the discussion point to the possibility of adjusting the braking system. This aspect adds an element of flexibility and customization to the car, allowing users to personalize their driving experience.

Pushing the Limits on the GPS

To put the Traxxas XMAXX truck to the test, the user decides to take it for another run on the GPS and see what it can achieve. The goal is to beat the previous speed record of 36 mph. However, the wet and muddy ground proves to be a challenge, causing the car to struggle and even tip over onto two wheels at times. Despite these obstacles, the user is confident that the car can surpass its previous performance.

New Speed Record

After the thrilling run, the user stops the car and checks the GPS to see the new speed achieved. To their delight, the Traxxas XMAXX truck has reached a speed of 37 mph, surpassing the previous record by 1 mph. This success gives the user hope that the car can even reach 38 mph on dry ground, pushing its limits even further.

A Dirty Adventure

As the user examines the car, they notice that it has become incredibly dirty during the run. This realization leads to the acknowledgment that part of the fun in owning an RC car is the adventure of getting it dirty and experiencing the thrill of outdoor racing. While it may require several hours of washing and cleaning to restore the car to its brand new condition, the process is seen as a part of the overall enjoyment.

Smooth and User-Friendly

Finally, both the user and another individual named Kyle express their thoughts on the Traxxas XMAXX truck. They both agree that the car is remarkably easy to use and provides a smooth running experience. This ease of use adds to the appeal of the car, making it accessible for users of different skill levels. The Traxxas XMAXX truck certainly lives up to its reputation as a highly user-friendly RC car.

In conclusion, the Traxxas XMAXX truck proves to be an exciting and powerful RC car that offers adjustable features and the potential for impressive speed. While it may be challenging on wet and muddy ground, it still manages to surpass previous speed records. The exhilaration of racing and the delight in using a user-friendly car make the Traxxas XMAXX truck a strong contender in the RC car market.

TRAXXAS XMAXX TRUCK: A WILD EXPERIENCE

I must admit, our time with the TRAXXAS XMAXX truck was not without its challenges. Due to a missing two-part drive shaft, we were unable to fully unleash its potential during our jumps. However, even with our limited experience, it was evident that this RC car was remarkably easy to control.

FEELS LIKE HOME

The TRAXXAS XMAXX truck seemed to come alive during those brief moments in the air. It felt like it was in its element, effortlessly gliding through the jumps. Despite the minor setback, I cannot deny the exhilaration I felt while operating this beast.

COMPARING TO THE ARMA KRATON & OUTCAST

Now, does the TRAXXAS XMAXX truck live up to its claim as the best RC car, surpassing the likes of the ARMA KRATON and OUTCAST? While the XMAXX truck impressed me, I must confess that I still believe the ARMA Outcast A8S EXB RTR holds the crown in the realm of stunt trucks.

ARMA OUTCAST: THE STUNT KING

The ARMA Outcast A8S EXB RTR simply exudes power and versatility. It effortlessly performs every maneuver expected of a stunt truck. Its dominance on the track and in the air is undeniable, leaving no room for doubt that it is the reigning stunt king.

TRAXXAS XMAXX: LIGHT, SMOOTH, AND EASY

On the other hand, the TRAXXAS XMAXX truck possesses a different charm. It feels light, smooth, and incredibly easy to handle. While it may not boast the brute force of the ARMA Outcast, there is something unique about the XMAXX’s agility and user-friendly nature.

A MATTER OF PREFERENCE

In the end, it comes down to personal preference. If you seek raw power and awe-inspiring stunts, the ARMA Outcast is your top choice. However, if you prioritize a nimble and user-friendly experience, the TRAXXAS XMAXX truck may be the one for you.

FINAL WORDS

Ultimately, the TRAXXAS XMAXX truck showcases its own distinct qualities, making it a formidable contender in the world of RC cars. Though it may not surpass the ARMA KRATON and OUTCAST in every aspect, its unique characteristics elevate it to become a worthy contender. Like, share, and subscribe if you enjoyed our take on this remarkable RC car.

Conclusion

While opinions may differ on whether the Traxxas XMaxx truck truly lives up to its reputation as the best RC car on the market, there is no denying the excitement and anticipation surrounding its first run.
