New EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE 1/10 Scale RC Car!

Introducing the New WPL Suzuki Jimny 1/10 Scale RC Car!

In an exciting development for RC car enthusiasts, WPL has released their first ever 1/10 scale RC car – the fully licensed WPL Suzuki Jimny. Breaking the norm of higher prices for larger cars, this new model is not only bigger but also extremely affordable. With prices ranging from $60 to $75, this 1/10 scale RC car is an absolute steal. But the question remains, despite its low price, is the WPL Suzuki Jimny worth the investment?

Past Experience with WPL Products

Having enjoyed WPL products in the past, I must admit that their range has been a great way to enter the hobby without breaking the bank. However, it’s important to note that not all their products have proved to be successful. Some have been disappointments, with one such example being the previous one-tenth scale model. It was a complete disaster, with track issues causing them to constantly fall off, rendering the car virtually unusable.

Hope for a Better Experience

With the release of the WPL Suzuki Jimny, there is hope that it will not follow the same disastrous path as its predecessor. Priced at just $60 to $75, it is unbelievably cheap for a one-tenth scale RC car. Upon unboxing, some assembly is required for the exterior components such as the wing mirrors, windscreen wipers, and door handles.

The Ultimate Test – Performance on the Track

The true test of any RC car lies in its performance on the track. It is crucial to determine whether the WPL Suzuki Jimny lives up to its promise of being an affordable yet functional RC car. Will it handle well? Will it withstand rough terrains and obstacles without falling apart?

Only time will tell whether WPL has taken the necessary steps to rectify the shortcomings of their previous one-tenth scale offering. Many enthusiasts have resorted to modifications and upgrades to salvage the usability of their previous models. Will the WPL Suzuki Jimny require similar enhancements, or will it prove to be worth every penny straight out of the box?

Despite the mixed track record with previous products, one cannot ignore the allure of such an affordable 1/10 scale RC car. With the WPL Suzuki Jimny’s accessibility and lower price point, it presents an excellent opportunity for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts alike to add another quality RC car to their collection.

The Decals

When you purchase the new, extremely affordable 1/10 scale RC car, you will receive a set of decals along with it. Applying these decals is a simple and easy process, so you will have your car looking sleek and stylish in no time. The decals add a touch of personalization to your RC car, allowing you to make it truly your own. This step is a crucial one, as it helps to enhance the overall appearance of the car. Plus, who doesn’t want their RC car to look cool?

Fully Licensed

One of the most impressive features of this 1/10 scale RC car is that it is fully licensed by Suzuki. This means that every design detail, every curve, and every logo is an authentic representation of the original Suzuki vehicle. The fact that this level of authenticity comes at such an affordable price is truly remarkable. With this RC car, you can experience the thrill of driving a genuine Suzuki without breaking the bank.

Included Accessories

Inside the box, you will find a few essential accessories that accompany the RC car. Firstly, there is a USB charger included, making it convenient and easy to charge the car’s battery. You don’t need to purchase any additional charging equipment, as everything you need is provided in the box. Additionally, the package includes a wpl transmitter, which features a steering jeal rate function. This allows you to have precise control over the car’s movements, giving you a more immersive and enjoyable experience.

Battery and Runtime

The RC car comes equipped with a 600 Mah, 2s lithium iron battery. This battery is powerful and should provide you with a decent runtime, allowing you to have extended play sessions without interruption. The lithium iron battery also ensures a reliable and consistent power source, enhancing the overall performance of the RC car. You can enjoy hours of thrilling and exciting RC car action with this new affordable model.

True 1/10 Scale

At first glance, you might find it hard to believe that this RC car is actually a 1/10 scale model. It looks surprisingly small sitting there in the box. However, rest assured that this is indeed a true 1/10 scale vehicle. To prove its authenticity, take a look at the video footage provided by one of my fellow RC YouTubers. The dimensions of the ja1 Suzuki jimy, which this RC car is a replica of, are 3295 mm long and 1395 mm wide. In 1/10 scale, this translates to a length of 329.5 mm, matching the size of the RC car perfectly.

Additional Features

In addition to its accurate scale representation, this RC car also comes with a hard plastic front and rear bumper. This adds a touch of durability and protection to the car, ensuring that it can withstand minor collisions and bumps along the way. It’s a small but important addition that contributes to the overall longevity and performance of the RC car. However, it’s worth noting that there is no spare bumper included.

Overall, the new, extremely affordable 1/10 scale RC car is a remarkable choice for RC enthusiasts. With its fully licensed design, included accessories, powerful battery, and accurate scale representation, it offers great value for money. Whether you’re a seasoned RC car enthusiast or

Chassis Features

Looking inside the new EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE 1/10 Scale RC Car, I noticed a full interior. Let’s discuss some of the chassis features that make this car interesting.

The car is equipped with plastic drive shafts and plastic axles. While this may not seem ideal, considering the low price point, it is to be expected. Surprisingly, the chassis rails feel like they are made out of metal, which adds a bit of durability to the overall structure.

Suspension and Transmission

One of the interesting features of this RC car is its leaf spring suspension. This type of suspension can provide a smoother ride and better off-roading capabilities. Both the front and rear of the car are outfitted with leaf spring suspension.

The transmission of the car is quite cool as it features counter-rotating drive shafts. This design helps to eliminate torque twist, resulting in better performance and stability.

Steering and Components

The car has an axle-mounted steering servo, which helps to control the direction of the vehicle. Although there aren’t many metal components in this car, it is expected due to its low cost. However, the lack of metal does not hinder its performance.

Battery Tray

Unfortunately, one aspect of this RC car that I don’t particularly like is the battery tray. It is incredibly fiddly and placed in an awkward spot, making it difficult to insert and remove the battery. However, once you manage to open it, you’ll find a fairly large battery tray that can accommodate the necessary power source.

LED Lights

One appealing feature of this car is the LED lights. When switched on, they add a cool aesthetic touch, especially with the yellowish tint that WPL vehicles always seem to have. These lights contribute to the overall scale realism of the car.

Performance Issues

While testing the car, I noticed some concerning issues. When I lightly pressed the throttle, I observed that the front end seemed to be malfunctioning. It’s unclear what exactly is happening, but it definitely does not look right. This is something that potential buyers should be aware of before purchasing the car.

As the weather takes a turn for the worse, it’s disappointing to encounter performance problems. However, it is important to evaluate the car’s overall functionality and address any issues that may arise during use.

The New EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE 1/10 Scale RC Car!

It seems to be shaking around a little bit, kind of like something’s binding, but look, the weather’s starting to get bad again. I want to get this video done, so let’s see how it performs, and that’s something I can look at later.

Test Drive in Challenging Conditions

So let’s go for a little test drive before the rain comes down even more. This thing does have a very noisy transmission. I don’t know if you can hear it, but it is quite noisy. However, that doesn’t really matter because it still seems to perform really well.

I haven’t had much luck with the weather this month. Every time I try to get out to do videos, it’s always raining or super windy. Now, once again, when we consider the price of this little truck, I don’t think it’s too bad.

A Rough, Yet Impressive Performer

Of course, it’s not going to be perfect because, once again, it is a WPL and they are rough around the edges. But people seem to love them, and they love upgrading them and doing modifications. Let’s see if we can get up the dirt here.

Yep, easy, no troubles whatsoever. And, of course, this is a trail truck. This isn’t really a crawler. If you want to go over rocks and stuff, you need to buy a dedicated rock crawler. However, this RC car is perfect for all your favorite trails and terrains.

Investigating the Front-End Issue

Now, it definitely feels like something’s going on on the front end, so I’m going to have to investigate and see what’s going on because it doesn’t quite feel right.

This new EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE 1/10 scale RC car may have a few quirks, but considering its price, it’s a great option for RC enthusiasts. Don’t let the rough edges deter you, as it still performs remarkably well and can tackle various terrains. The noisy transmission is a minor setback, but the overall experience of driving this RC car is exciting and enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option that you can upgrade and customize, the affordable 1/10 scale RC car from WPL is worth considering. Just remember that it may not be suitable for extreme rock crawling, but it will excel on trails and provide endless hours of fun. So go ahead, give it a try and embark on thrilling adventures with this wallet-friendly RC car!

Introducing the New EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE 1/10 Scale RC Car!

If you’re in the market for a budget-friendly remote control car, look no further! The new 1/10 Scale RC Car from WPL is here, and it’s priced at an incredibly low $60 or $75, depending on the model. Despite its affordable price tag, this little car packs quite a punch!

Impressive Design

One thing that immediately catches the eye is the sleek and cool design of this RC car. Its compact size and stylish features make it a standout in the market. But looks aren’t everything, so let’s dive into the performance of this budget-friendly model!

Dual Throttle Rates

The 1/10 Scale RC Car offers two different throttle rates, allowing you to choose between low and high speed. While the low speed setting provides a decent performance, switching to high speed definitely amps up the excitement. It may not win any racing championships, but it offers a thrilling ride for RC enthusiasts!

An Issue with Suspension

However, there seems to be an issue with the suspension on the rear of this RC car. Upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that the heavy lithium-ion battery placed at the back is weighing it down. The leaf spring suspension is struggling to handle the excess weight, affecting the overall performance.

Potential Solutions

Despite the suspension issue, the 1/10 Scale RC Car still offers excellent value for money. There is hope for improvement, as it’s highly likely that WPL will release upgrades or fixes for the suspension problem. Alternatively, owners can experiment with relocating the battery to distribute the weight more evenly, potentially solving the problem on their own.

In conclusion, the new WPL Suzuki Jimny, like other models from WPL, may have some rough edges. However, considering its price range of $60 or $75, it is a steal for hobbyists and beginners alike. With a little tinkering or an upgrade from WPL, this RC car has the potential to deliver an even better performance. Don’t miss out on this extremely affordable 1/10 Scale RC Car – get yours today!

Scale Fans: The Target Market

So who is this little car for then? Well, I think this is going to be for the scale fans, because I wouldn’t recommend this to someone getting into the hobby.

Not Suitable for Beginners

For someone just starting out, this RC car does have some issues and I don’t think it’s fun enough for a beginner. If you’re looking for something in this price range and you’re new to the hobby, I would suggest checking out models like the High Boxing 16889 or the FTX Tracer. Those trucks are faster, more durable, and perform well with oil shocks, unlike this one that didn’t meet expectations.

A Step in the Right Direction for WPL

Despite its flaws, this RC car is a good move in the right direction for WPL. Hopefully, we will see larger models in the future. It’s commendable that they’re trying to keep prices low while still delivering a quality product. However, personally, I would prefer to spend a little bit more and get a better product. But, of course, that’s just my opinion.
