The Forgotten RC Car
When it comes to remote-controlled cars, there are countless options available in the market. However, it seems that one particular RC car has been overshadowed and forgotten over the years. This article aims to shed light on the crazy RC car that everyone seemed to have forgotten about.
The HBII Savage XS Flux: A Mini Monster Truck
The first time I came across this RC car was on Jake Bans Channel. It was the HBII Savage XS Flux, a mini monster truck that claimed to be the world’s fastest. The color of the car was a sleek gray and green, instantly catching my attention. I couldn’t believe that it has been four or five years since its release.
The HBII Savage XS Flux is not just fast; it is built like a tank. Its durability and strength make it an absolute powerhouse. With a top speed of 105 mph and an optional 34 Toth pinion and 3s battery, this RC car is a force to be reckoned with. However, I can’t help but wonder if it is controllable at such high speeds.
Unmatched Features: A Beast on Wheels
One look at the HBII Savage XS Flux and you’ll realize that it is no ordinary RC car. Its legendary vertical plate chassis provides stability and agility while tackling rough terrains. The powerful brushless system ensures a thrilling and adrenaline-filled experience, while the oversized suspension and bulletproof drivetrain add to its robustness.
I eagerly anticipate taking this beast to the skate park. However, I think it would be wise to test it on dirt first before attempting any daring stunts. Maybe we’ll even visit multiple skate parks to truly gauge its capabilities. The excitement is palpable!
What’s in the Box?
Upon unboxing the HBII Savage XS Flux, I was pleasantly surprised by the contents. Along with the car itself, I found a set of instructions to guide me through the setup process. The package also included some stickers, giving me the opportunity to personalize my RC car. Additionally, there were spare wheel hexes and body mount shims, indicating the attention to detail and customization options provided.
I was particularly intrigued by the tf50 transmitter that came with the car. It seems to be an updated version of the tf41 transmitter, boasting a notable endpoint adjustment feature. I am curious to see how this adjustment will impact the car’s performance and control.
The anticipation is building as I prepare for my first test drive with the HBII Savage XS Flux. Stay tuned for more updates as I uncover the true potential of this forgotten RC car.
The End Points and Steering
The RC car in question has some interesting features, including end points for steering and a jeel rate throttle trim. The steering trim feels quite nice, although it may become annoying after a while of digging into my hand. However, despite this small inconvenience, the overall quality of the steering is commendable.
An Oddly Sized Tank
One of the most striking things about this RC car is its size. It is incredibly small, but don’t let its size fool you. It has a surprising amount of weight to it, which adds to its performance and stability. Just like the infamous phrase, “that’s what she said,” the RC car offers a delightful surprise to anyone who sees it for the first time.
A Variety of Body Styles
There are three or four different body styles available for this RC car. The first one resembles a Vau, while the second one seems to have an American flair, reminiscent of old-school NASCAR cars. The third body style is a unique and distinct design. Each body style comes with its own set of wheels and tires, adding to the overall visual appeal of the RC car. However, it seems that the variations end there, as the chassis and setup remain the same across all body styles.
A Mini Monster Truck
Compared to other similar RC cars like the Granite Gro and the Associated rival mt10, this RC car stands out as one of the smallest one-tenth scale bashes available in the market. Its size is even smaller than those mentioned, although there is no official scale provided. It can be speculated that it might be around 1/12 scale. Nonetheless, its performance does not disappoint. Despite its miniature size, this RC car claims to be the fastest mini monster truck in the world.
A Mighty Beast
Beneath its tiny exterior, this RC car reveals a beastly heart. Its power and speed are truly impressive, making it a formidable force on the track. Whether you’re racing against your friends or simply enjoying a leisurely drive, this RC car promises an exhilarating experience like no other.
In conclusion, it’s surprising how this crazy RC car seems to have been forgotten amidst the sea of other RC cars available in the market. Its unique features, odd size, and impressive performance make it a standout choice for any RC car enthusiast. So, let’s not forget about this incredible RC car and continue to explore the world of mini monster trucks.
Introduction
Did everyone forget about this crazy RC car? It seems like it’s been overshadowed by newer models in the market. But let me tell you, this RC car has some impressive features that make it worth taking a second look.
Impressive Shocks and Chassis
One of the standout features of this RC car is its big long travel shocks. They provide a really nice feel, both at the front and rear suspension. The chassis is made of plastic, which might raise some eyebrows among those who prefer metal components. However, it’s important to emphasize that plastic doesn’t necessarily mean weakness.
Powerful Electronics
Looking at the internals, you’ll find the electronic speed controller (ESC) at the center. While I couldn’t find all the details, I can confirm that it is 3s capable. The motor, which I believe is the same as the one in the wr8 flux, boasts a 4000 KV brush setup. This is quite impressive considering the size of the car. The receiver is likely tucked away somewhere, and it’s hard to spot the steering servo, but it must be there.
Beefy Suspension and Drivetrain
The suspension components and drivetrain of this RC car look sturdy and well-built. It features cvds up front and drive shafts at the rear. The only potential weak point I’ve come across is the drive cups, which might need some reinforcement. Fortunately, there are aftermarket options available to address this issue, such as the HD drive cups.
Quality and Design
Upon closer inspection, the quality of the plastics used in this RC car is impressive. The hex hardware is another nice touch that adds to the overall appearance. It’s clear that attention to detail was given when designing this model.
Closing Remarks
Now, it’s time to put this RC car to the test. I can’t wait to charge the battery and see how fast it goes on both 2s and 3s. Stay tuned for the full performance report and more updates on this forgotten gem!
Speed Test of the RC Car
The first thing to do when unboxing this crazy RC car is to test its speed. To achieve a speed of over 65 mph, you’ll likely need to upgrade the pinion size. But for now, let’s see just how fast it can go straight out of the box.
Initial Impressions
The wheel speed test reveals that the steering is not as responsive as expected. However, with a fully charged battery, the car still feels fairly quick. The conditions outside are a little slippery, but the bright blue sky overhead adds a touch of excitement. Despite the cold weather, reaching speeds of over 30 mph would be impressive for this small car on a 2s battery.
Full Throttle
Engaging full throttle, the speedometer quickly rises above 30 mph. This is undeniably fast, clocking in between 33 and 35 mph. The car maintains its momentum surprisingly well, though it does require some firm brake checks. The speeds it reaches are truly exhilarating, and the car handles reasonably well considering it is not equipped with a sensored system.
Three-Cell Run
Having tested the car on a 2s battery, it’s time to push the limits further. Although the ground is still quite slippery, we decide to give a three-cell run a try. It’s midweek, so our options for a larger road are limited. Nevertheless, we press on with our experiment.
The Ultimate Test
Engaging the three-cell battery, the car initially stutters due to the low throttle input. This could be attributed to the lack of a sensored system. However, once it gets going, the car picks up speed rapidly. Our previous personal best on this road was 50 mph, and we eagerly anticipate if this RC car can beat it.
Unleashing the Power
With a burst of full throttle, the car zooms down the road. It’s certainly not a bad speed at all, and it looks even faster this time around. The sudden boost in speed catches us off guard, and we can’t help but be impressed. We can hardly contain our excitement as we realize we have a three-cell battery at our disposal.
The Thrill of It All
As the journey continues, the car seems to have limitless power. The speed and adrenaline rush leave us in awe. This RC car is truly a force to be reckoned with. We can’t contain our excitement as we continue to push the boundaries of what this small machine can achieve. The thrill of racing at high speeds is unparalleled.
The Forgotten RC Car
Oh my days, wow GPS went flying and there’s a drain just up there, an open drain. Please please not gone down it. Oh safe, could have easily gone down there. G whoa no come on. It was definitely over 50. Its got have been 51 new PB on this road.
The Need for Speed
Going again, full FR breaks, breaks, braks, yeah, 52 that’ll do right: oh that’s, a that’s, a good entry to the skate park just 2 s. At the moment. I am going to ramp it up as a video goes on, but I think two cell for this. It’s probably going to be perfect for some uh skate park action, oh it’s slippery today.
A Thrilling Ride
Now the problem with these short wheel based things is they like to swap ends when uh? Well, whenever you get onto power? Oh my word, just a light. 2S bash. He says very easy to sell back. Flips run this two cell through then I’m going to take on a bit of dirt, which I think is not going to be easy to drive, probably going to want to swap ends a lot but we’ll try on some dirt. I mean it’s fine on grass, look easy on grass that is wet soggy grass as well, so oh it’s ripping. I think once you get uh get used to that throttle and the steering you can kind of control it just needs to be on power.
The Daredevil Backflip
Oh oh! I didn’t leave myself enough wheel, speed for that backflip slow in fast out there we go. Thing with backflips…
RC Car Speed and Performance
Is your RC car lacking in speed? Do you long for that exhilarating feeling of whipping it around corners? Well, look no further than this crazy RC car that everyone seems to have forgotten about.
Unleashing the Speed
When it comes to speed and performance, this RC car does not disappoint. Its aggressive nature and powerful motor allow you to navigate corners with ease. The adrenaline rush you’ll experience as you push it to its limits is truly unmatched.
Minor Setbacks
However, like any high-speed machine, this RC car is not without its faults. A common issue that some RC enthusiasts have encountered is a popped drive shaft. But fear not, for there is a simple fix for this problem. By using CBDs (whatever that means), you can prevent the drive shaft from popping out and causing frustration. Though a minor setback, it can become quite annoying if it happens frequently.
A Break and a Fix
During a thrilling jump, the body mounts of this RC car may break, causing the body to come off. It may leave you wondering how it happened in the first place. Could it be the little pins that go through the body mounts? Were they not properly secured? In any case, fear not, as a quick fix is readily available. Always bring spares and tools, just like any responsible RC car enthusiast would do. With a few spare parts and a bit of tinkering, you’ll have your RC car ready to go in no time.
Pushing the Limits
Despite these minor mishaps, this RC car still continues to deliver an impressive performance. It may be a little battered and bruised, but it remains functional. Even with a broken mount, it doesn’t send us home early. This little tank of a machine is built to withstand the rough and tumble of intense off-roading.
The Final Hurdle
Now, here’s where things take a turn. As we push the limits of this crazy RC car to the extreme, a shock end gives way. This unexpected failure may be the final hurdle in our escapades. Are there any spare parts in the box that could save the day? The fate of this RC car now hangs in the balance.
Intriguing, isn’t it? This forgotten gem of an RC car provides endless thrills, with its speed, power, and occasional setbacks. It proves that even the most rugged of machines can face unexpected challenges. But isn’t that what makes the journey all the more exciting? So, if you’re in search of an adrenaline-pumping RC experience, don’t let this crazy RC car be forgotten any longer.
Introducing the Forgotten RC Car
Remember that crazy RC car that took the internet by storm a while ago? It seemed like everyone was talking about it, marveling at its power and control. But as time went on, it slowly faded from memory, overshadowed by newer, shinier toys. Did everyone forget about this crazy RC car?
An Unforgettable Build
The first thing that struck anyone who laid eyes on this RC car was its impeccable build. You could just tell that it was built to last, built to withstand any challenges that came its way. Its weight alone spoke volumes – this was no ordinary toy.
Compare it to the little MJX that was all the rage before. Sure, it had its moments of uncontrollability, but was that really a surprise? With its short wheelbase and excessive power, it was bound to be a wild ride. But this forgotten RC car, with its short wheelbase and ample power, offers a newfound sense of control, a sense of order amidst the chaos.
Mastering the Controls
Now, it may not look like it at first glance, but believe me when I say that this RC car is all about control. Sure, it takes a bit of getting used to, but once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s a whole new world of possibilities.
Just be careful with that throttle, though. 3S power might be too much for the surface you’re on. But with 2S power, it’s a perfect combination of speed and traction. Hook up those wheels and watch it go!
A Stunt Truck to Remember
Okay, so maybe we can’t take it to the skate park for that 3S run we were hoping for. But fear not, this forgotten RC car still has some tricks up its sleeve. It’s time to showcase its stunt capabilities and prove to the world that it’s not to be forgotten.
Front flips, backflips – this RC car can do them all. With a death-defying flip in the air, it’s a sight to behold. Sure, it may not have the ideal conditions to truly shine, but that doesn’t stop it from stealing the show. A stunt truck that refuses to be overshadowed.
So, did everyone forget about this crazy RC car? Perhaps. But here’s a reminder of its power, its control, and the thrill it brings to any RC enthusiast. It may have been overshadowed for a while, but trust me, it’s a toy worth remembering.
The Forgotten Crazy RC Car
Oh man, pretty brutal this skate park. If you go hard, go hard or go home as they say. Oh, that was a good one. I dont know if I got that on camera, I my had my controller down.
Oh oh, too much power thats the highest Ive ever been on there. There might get a better view here. Lets go who missed the landing crap with the camera today.
I think, if I stand way over here, I shouldnt miss it. Uh oh sounded dodgy as it launched sounds like a motor cable might have come out, hopefully thats just it yes.
Well, oh no. That sounds like the motors moved that went up, though, so it is just the pinion that slipped get me screwdriver in there look pinions come off and it slipped all the way back.
An Easy Inconvenience
Doesnt look like the motors moved, so an easy fix. However, it is an inconvenient easy fix. Cuz, you dont really want to be taking all this apart when youre out at the skate park or at the track.
As Good as New?
Big chunky gears in there get opinion back on and should be good to go so all back together, almost as good as new, not quite but almost, and this thing is definitely a little beast now.
No Spare Parts Needed
I was going to take it out again and do some more jumps and stuff like that. I think weve proved enough, and the key thing to take away from here is Ive not had to go online to purchase any spares yep.
The Breakage
It didn’t take long for this RC car to break, but luckily there were spare parts included in the box. The body mount snapped in the middle, rendering it unusable. Attempts to fix it with glue proved futile. However, despite the breakage, the car remained functional and the spare body mount that came with it was a bit different but still worked. By raising the front a little, the body was securely positioned. The inconvenience of the broken pinion was frustrating as it required disassembling, but at least it prevented the car from sitting on a shelf, broken and forgotten for days, weeks, or even months.
The Body Damage
In addition to the body mount, the car’s body also suffered some damage. However, it was only minimal and didn’t affect the overall functionality of the car. The car proved to be resilient and sturdy, despite the occasional knocks and bumps it endured during its use.
A Chance to Win
Don’t forget that by participating, you have the chance to win your very own brand new Savage EXs Flux, along with all the excitement it brings. The link in the description provides all the necessary details to enter the contest. It’s an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed for any RC car enthusiast.
A Summer Revisit
Considering the car’s performance and the need for further exploration, it is only fitting to revisit it in the summer. With the addition of a bigger pinion, it will be interesting to see if this RC car truly lives up to its claim of being the world’s fastest mini monster truck. The summer brings with it better weather conditions and a chance for this car to shine once again in all its glory.
Conclusion
Unfortunately, no conclusion or closing remarks are needed for this article. The RC car’s performance speaks for itself. It’s clear that this crazy RC car should not be forgotten. Its impressive speed and exhilarating performance are bound to leave any enthusiast in awe. So, if you haven’t heard about this remarkable RC car, now is the time to sit up and take notice. Get ready to be blown away by the sheer power and excitement it offers.
