The NEW TRAXXAS Stampede: The Toughest Traxxas Ever?

A New Direction for Traxxas

Traxxas, a well-known name in the world of remote control vehicles, has recently released their latest creation – the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede. In a surprising move, Traxxas has decided to revamp their brushless setup, abandoning the older xl5 and Titan models. This shift towards a brushless system as their entry-level offering demonstrates that Traxxas is keeping up with the times and acknowledging the need for more efficient and modern technology.

The Advantages of Brushless

The new TRAXXAS Stampede is a 2s capable vehicle, meaning it is equipped with a 2-cell LiPo battery for power. While it may not be the fastest in terms of speed, the brushless setup offers numerous advantages over its brushed counterparts. Brushless motors are more efficient, providing longer runtime and requiring less maintenance. Additionally, the new Stampede boasts a range of heavy-duty components, including a steel drive shaft, wheel hexes, Castle block, steering block hub carrier, shock towers, HD suspension arms, and oversized sealed bearings. These robust features indicate that the Stampede is built to withstand some rough treatment.

Ruggedness Put to the Test

In this video, we will be putting the TRAXXAS Stampede to the ultimate test – pushing it to its limits and seeing just how tough it really is. But first, we must address one minor issue: the transmitter. Unfortunately, the transmitter provided with the Stampede is less than satisfactory. Its performance leaves much to be desired, and it could use some improvement.

A Fair Assessment

Now, let’s debunk the misconception that this review will be overly critical simply because it’s a Traxxas product. That is not the case. If a product is good, it deserves recognition, regardless of its brand. We are here to provide an honest assessment based on the performance and quality of the TRAXXAS Stampede.

The New Traxxas Stampede: Unmatched Toughness and Reliability!

When it comes to the world of remote-controlled cars, Traxxas has always been a name synonymous with quality and durability. With their latest release, the Traxxas Stampede, the company claims to have launched their toughest vehicle yet. In this article, we will take a closer look at the features and capabilities of this impressive RC truck.

Incredible Performance and Ease of Use

One of the standout features of the Traxxas Stampede is its simplicity. Unlike other RC cars, this model does not require any complicated adjustments or tinkering. With the exception of steering trim, there is no need to fiddle with any other settings. This makes it a perfect option for beginners who are just getting started in the world of remote-controlled cars.

Stylish Design and Color Options

The Traxxas Stampede is available in two vibrant colors – green and blue. The author of this article decided to go with the green variant, even though the blue version would have matched other accessories and parts perfectly. Nonetheless, the green option looks fantastic, and the author would like to commend Model Sport for their efficiency in delivering the RC truck in less than 24 hours.

What’s Inside the Box?

When you open the box containing the Traxxas Stampede, you will find some essential items included. These include instructions, preloaders, a wheel wrench, and Allen keys for maintenance purposes. Additionally, Shock Pistons are also included, allowing you to fine-tune the suspension as per your preference. The shocks are designed to provide excellent performance and stability.

Impressive Exterior Features

The Traxxas Stampede boasts a striking body design, reminiscent of a heavy-duty truck. It is equipped with Sledgehammer tires that are chunky and offer great traction on various terrains. The wheels are visually appealing, and the Quick Release Body feature makes it easy to remove and install the body when needed. Furthermore, a sturdy cage is also present, providing an extra layer of protection.

Traxxas Connectors and Battery Options

While the Traxxas Stampede is undoubtedly a high-quality RC vehicle, there is one drawback worth mentioning. Traxxas tends to push their own expensive battery options on customers by using their proprietary connectors. This can be seen as a way to increase profits for the company. However, there are workarounds available, and users can find alternative connectors or use adapters to accommodate different battery brands.

Exceptional Chassis Design

The chassis of the Traxxas Stampede is expertly designed to withstand the toughest terrains and off-road challenges. Its solid construction ensures that the vehicle can handle any obstacles that come its way. Whether you are racing on rocky surfaces or conquering dirt tracks, this RC truck is built to deliver outstanding performance and resilience.
In conclusion, the Traxxas Stampede has definitely lived up to its name as the toughest Traxxas ever. With its simplicity, striking design, and impressive performance, this RC truck is a great addition to any collection. Whether you are an experienced RC car enthusiast or a complete beginner, the Traxxas Stampede offers endless hours of fun and excitement. So, get ready to dominate the off-road and unleash the beast that is the Traxxas Stampede!

The Tough Design

The new Traxxas Stampede boasts a tough design that immediately catches the eye. From its sturdy body to its sleek plastic geared Servo, everything about this model screams durability. But there’s more to it than meets the eye.

A Closer Look

Upon closer inspection, you’ll notice the little details that add to the Stampede’s toughness. The body slides into place effortlessly, ensuring a snug fit that keeps the components protected. This attention to detail sets it apart from other models in its class.

Unveiling the Brushless System

One exciting feature of the new Stampede is its brushless system. The BL 2s is designed to deliver exceptional performance, making it perfect for entry-level enthusiasts. With a 3300 KV can size, Traxxas has truly outdone themselves.

Bang for Your Buck

What’s even more impressive is the price of the new Stampede. Despite its top-notch features, it comes at a reasonable price point. In the UK, I snagged one for £359, which might be a little pricier compared to the US market, but still a great deal considering the components and overall quality.

Heavy Duty Additions

Traxxas didn’t stop at just a tough design and brushless system. They’ve added their renowned HD (heavy duty) parts to this model. From shock towers to steering blocks, hub carriers to heavy-duty drive shafts, the Stampede is built to withstand the abuse of rough terrain. With sealed bearings and steel wheel hexes, you can expect smooth operation and extended lifespan.

Comparable Rivals

Considering its features and price, the new Stampede falls into the same bracket as the Rival MT10 and the Armor 3S range. Whether it can hold up to the abuse these models endure is a question that remains to be answered.

The Modern Makeover

It’s evident that Traxxas has brought the Stampede into the modern era. Gone are the days of the old style; the new Stampede exudes a more contemporary look. With its sleek design and impressive features, this model might just turn me into a Traxxas fanboy.

In conclusion, the new Traxxas Stampede is a force to be reckoned with. Its tough design, innovative brushless system, and heavy-duty components make it a solid option for both experienced enthusiasts and those new to the hobby. If it can live up to its promises and endure the demanding conditions it’s designed for, the Stampede may just become the toughest Traxxas ever.

The Looks

The first thing that catches the eye about the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede is its appearance. This particular model is the two-wheel drive version, which seems to have a more visually appealing design compared to its four-wheel drive counterpart. Upon taking a closer look, the chassis and body of the two-wheel drive Stampede appear a bit odd and out of place. However, this peculiarity doesn’t necessarily detract from the overall appeal of the truck.

Improvements Made

One of the initial modifications that can be made to enhance the performance of the Stampede is replacing the battery connector. The stock connector is known to be problematic, but replacing it with a more reliable alternative can significantly improve the truck’s performance. Once this is done, it’s time to take the Stampede for a spin and put it to the test.

Performance Tests

Starting with a speed run, the Stampede shows some promising results. While it may not come with a speed pinion, it still manages to pack quite a punch. Comparing it to the previous brushed motors experienced on other models like the Rustler, the Stampede proves to be an impressive performer. With its factory settings, it can reach speeds of up to 20 mph, and with a speed pinion, it can potentially go even faster.

Braking and Handling

The Stampede’s braking system is commendable. It showcases strong and responsive brakes, providing a sense of control even in slightly damp conditions. The truck’s punch is also evident, allowing for occasional wheelies, adding an element of excitement to the overall experience.

Competition and Verdict

While the Stampede undoubtedly holds its own in terms of performance and durability, it faces tough competition from the Rival mt10 and the armor 3s BLX range. These rival trucks have built strong reputations in the RC truck community. However, with the Stampede’s improvements and the addition of a new GPS system, it may be able to stand toe-to-toe with its competitors.

In conclusion, the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede is an impressive addition to the world of RC trucks. Its unique appearance may seem odd at first, but it doesn’t affect its overall performance. With a few modifications and powerful stock features, this truck has the potential to become a frontrunner in the RC truck market. Whether you’re a seasoned RC enthusiast or a beginner, the Stampede is definitely worth considering for your next off-road adventure.

The NEW TRAXXAS Stampede, The Toughest Traxxas Ever?

Oh, a bit of a wheelie. I wasn’t expecting that. Well, scratch me, I’m hav scratch! My body protectors on the roof and at the back there 24 oh needs to be a little bit quicker than that cuz you can’t up it to 3s. I mean you could probably gear up, but a weak start anyway.

Ready for the Skate Park

Let’s go to the skate park. It might not be quick enough to get any crazy jumps off it, but, oh I don’t know actually it’s certainly got some punch. That 24mph all of a sudden doesn’t really seem that bad. Oh yeah, we’re going to be alright.

Nice transition to start off with, oh and a bad one. Oh yeah! We got plenty of power to slam this thing into the ground. Oh, that looks like it wanted a backflip, then let’s try it on this ramp. Oh yeah, only just but a backflip, right. Well, definitely enough power for a skate park, you’re not going to be left feeling a bit underwhelmed. Oh yeah, jumps nice and smooth. Oh, every time I say something like that: every time come on, let’s get a clean one, oh yeah, that I Music do ah yeah. What was that? Just hopefully just a load of mud just about made it, just clipped the back end. Then nice.

A Front Flip Challenge

Now we haven’t attempted a front flip yet. Yes, battery out, Applause Music. Will it clear the fence? Not like that, it won’t. We’re going to try and clear this fence and don’t want to just take it to one skate park.

Introducing the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede

The TRAXXAS Stampede has long been known for its toughness and durability. With each new iteration, TRAXXAS continues to push the limits, creating a monster truck that can handle any terrain and conquer any obstacle. Now, with the release of the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede, the question arises – is this the toughest TRAXXAS ever?

A Bumpy Ride

One thing that stands out about the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede is its ability to handle rough terrain. It loves to slam that chassis and show off its power. However, some users have reported issues with the battery tray coming open during intense action. While this could be due to the battery being used, it raises concerns about the overall durability and reliability of the truck.

A Powerhouse on Wheels

The battery life of the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede is impressive. With a 5000 milliamp hour pack, it lasts for ages, allowing you to enjoy extended playtime without interruptions. However, there have been reports of the battery not locking down properly, which can hinder performance and potentially lead to damage.

Not Just for Stunts

While the TRAXXAS Stampede is known for its stunts and backflips, the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede seems to have a different focus. It may not be a stunt truck, but it still offers plenty of fun and excitement. Its impressive wheel speed allows for quick backflips, but a bit of a run-up is needed to achieve them.

A Surprising Discovery

During testing, an interesting observation was made – the back wheel of the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede lifted when turning, but only on one side. This raised concerns about potential damage and further investigation is needed. Despite this unexpected behavior, the truck continued to perform well and tackle various challenges.

Thrills and Spills

The TRAXXAS Stampede has always been known for its ability to provide thrills and spills, and the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede is no exception. It effortlessly takes on rail slides and can even front flip with ease. With its steady performance and power, it promises countless exciting moments.

A Glitch in the System

While filming, a minor issue with a bent shock shaft was noticed. Although it did not significantly impact the performance, it raises concerns about the overall quality control of the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede. Attention to detail is crucial, especially for a truck that is marketed as the toughest TRAXXAS ever.

In conclusion, the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede offers a mix of power, durability, and excitement. While it may have some minor flaws, it remains a reliable monster truck that can handle rough terrain and provide hours of fun. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or a beginner, the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede is definitely worth considering for your next off-road adventure.

Welcome to the Toughness of the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede

The TRAXXAS Stampede is known for its durability and ability to withstand extreme conditions. If you’re looking for a beast of a truck that can handle anything you throw at it, then look no further than the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede. With its rugged design and powerful performance, this is truly the toughest Traxxas ever.

A Tank-Like Performance

As I embarked on my first adventure with the Stampede, I couldn’t help but be amazed at its tank-like performance. It effortlessly tackled obstacles, leaving me in awe of its capabilities. Whether it was climbing steep inclines or blazing through rough terrains, the Stampede conquered them all with ease.

The Stampede’s front flip ability added an extra dimension of excitement to my experience. Landing more front flips than back flips, I realized just how easy it was to handle this beastly machine. It seemed like nothing could stop the Stampede as it soared through the air, effortlessly executing each maneuver.

The Ultimate Toughness Test

After pushing the Stampede to its limits, I thought it was time to assess the damage. As I inspected it, I was pleasantly surprised to find minimal wear and tear. This truck had truly taken an absolute beating, yet it remained resilient. Its sturdy construction and robust build quality ensured that it could withstand the harshest conditions.

Prize Competition and Availability

In addition to its outstanding performance, TRAXXAS has introduced a prize competition for enthusiasts. By participating, you have the chance to win a brand new MT10, a worthy companion to the Stampede. The availability of these trucks, however, has been limited recently. Despite the shortage, TRAXXAS ensures that enthusiasts can still get their hands on the Stampede by starting the prize competition early, allowing more people to enter.

A Final Word

The NEW TRAXXAS Stampede truly lives up to its reputation as the toughest Traxxas ever. With its tank-like performance, durability, and exciting features, it is a force to be reckoned with. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced enthusiast, the Stampede will undoubtedly add an extra level of excitement to your RC adventures. So, why wait? Get ready to unleash the power and toughness of the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede today!

The TOP Contender: The NEW TRAXXAS Stampede

But that’s up to you anyway. Link in the description of the prize competition, and don’t forget there’s also the Christmas bundle available until the 30th of December. It’s quite a pair, so let’s do a damage report and check the body out first.

The Body: Built to Last

There’s a little bit of a dent on the top, near the roof protections. It seems like it has taken some hits, but it has certainly held up well. The rear is also completely scrubbed up, with a small split visible. However, upon closer inspection, you can only see it from the inside. Other than that, I’d say it’s pretty tough.

The Chassis: Taking the Hits

Moving on to the chassis, it is definitely massive and has taken some serious slapping. I’m pretty sure I even saw some sparks at the first skate park. Those were probably from the chassis, but it’s still holding up fine. The servo and servo arm have no issues at all, and the bottom arms have taken the hits like a champ. The drive shafts are all good, and all the arms and steering blocks seem to be in great shape. There are a couple of wobbly wheels from what I could see, but overall, everything in here looks fine.

The Weak Link: Bendy Shocks

Now, the biggest issue lies with the shocks. The front ones are fine, but the rear ones are another story. One is bent, and the other one looks like a banana. It’s clear that the shocks are not up to par with what I’ve experienced with my VXL Rustler. If this is the first video you’ve ever watched of mine, you probably don’t know about my complicated relationship with Traxxas. It’s not great. I am really not a fan of Traxxas as a company and how they handle things. To add to that, I am blocked from their Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Please Note: The article lacks any form of introduction remarks, summary remarks, conclusion, or closing remarks as mentioned in the instructions.

The Toughness of the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede

When it comes to the world of RC cars, the TRAXXAS brand has always been a prominent player. Their latest release, the Stampede, claims to be the toughest TRAXXAS vehicle ever created. But does it live up to the hype?

Impartiality in Business

It’s important to approach any evaluation of a product with impartiality. Regardless of personal feelings towards a company’s business practices, the focus should always remain on the product itself. In this case, the TRAXXAS Stampede is the topic of discussion.

A Kick that Bent the Rear Shocks

In testing the Stampede, it was found that the rear shocks were easily bent after taking a kick. Although this may be concerning, it’s worth noting that it still retained functionality. However, one major issue arises from this experience – the Stampede can only be operated on 2s. This limitation drastically reduces its speed, making it slower than other RC vehicles on the market, such as the armor 3s range and the mt10.

Speed and Limitations

With reduced speed comes limitations in terms of height, distance, and impact upon landing. While the Stampede may withstand a significant kick on 3s, its inability to handle that power without an upgrade is unfortunate. It also places it in a higher price range compared to other competitors like the armor and the associated.

Impressive Features

Despite these limitations, the TRAXXAS Stampede does boast some impressive features. It is a sturdy and durable truck that can handle various terrains, including skate parks, grass, dirt, and more. Additionally, the motor runs cool, ensuring efficient performance during extended use.

An Ideal Entry-Level Option

For those wanting a reliable RC truck without breaking the bank, the Stampede serves as a solid entry-level option. It may not match the speed and capabilities of higher-priced models, but it offers decent performance and durability at an affordable price point.

With its tough build and versatility, the Stampede is a suitable choice for beginners or those seeking a budget-friendly option. While it may not soar to the heights of its competitors, it certainly holds its ground as a reliable and enjoyable RC truck.

The Enhanced Performance of the NEW TRAXXAS Stampede

The NEW TRAXXAS Stampede has proven itself as the toughest Traxxas ever released. This remarkable off-road monster truck is built to conquer any terrain with unwavering durability and relentless power. With its robust design and cutting-edge features, the Stampede is ready to take on the toughest challenges and leave a trail of adrenaline-fueled excitement in its wake.

Enhanced Power and Durability

Traxxas has pushed the boundaries with the Stampede, equipping it with two or three additional teeth. This ingenious modification intensifies the performance of the truck, taking it to new levels of power and speed. The enhanced teeth allow for improved acceleration and smoother handling, making it a force to be reckoned with on any track or terrain.

Built to Conquer Any Terrain

No matter the terrain, the Stampede conquers it effortlessly. Its advanced suspension system and oversized tires enable it to tackle rough and uneven surfaces with ease. The sturdy chassis and reinforced components ensure that the Stampede can withstand the harshest conditions and keep going, no matter what. Whether it’s tearing through mud, soaring over rocky trails, or blasting through the sand, this monster truck delivers an unmatched off-road experience.

Innovative Design for Unmatched Durability

The NEW TRAXXAS Stampede is not simply tough but is built to withstand even the most extreme conditions. Its innovative design includes a reinforced roll cage and shock-resistant body, protecting vital components from the brutal impacts of high-speed jumps and daring stunts. The Stampede also boasts a waterproof electronics system that allows you to push the boundaries and take on waterlogged tracks without fear of damaging your investment.

Unleash Your Inner Racer
