The Unexpected Unveiling
I almost died. Yeah, this thing is awesome. That’s why I started the video off like that. Normally, I wouldn’t do it, but keep watching and find out why this is the best 160 scale on the market. But of all the 16 scales, these ones are tops. But maybe this one is tops. I love that logo. It kind of looks like a cow that got dizzied in Pokemon.
The Impressive Max Version
Bang good sent me the max version, and that has a brushless motor and all metal internals. But it also comes in a pro version, which is a brush setup and it has a few less metal components inside of it. There’s something intriguing about this beast with its powerful features.
Exploring the Miniature Crawler
Ooh, a 116th scale crawler. So this version has a 17 G, three-wire servo, brushless motor (don’t know the KV), and a 35 amp 2s brushless ESC. Let’s open it up and see if it’s got all this aluminium insider. Ah, I always forget one. Oh, look at that. I was like, “That’s kind of flat.” I realized it’s got a plastic protector on it. It’s all about the little surprises that pack a punch.
Curious Wheel Base
One thing that’s a little off-putting to me is the wheelbase. It looks like it should be a little longer; it’s a little smooshed. But hey, sometimes appearances can be deceiving.
The Package Delight
Charger, wheel wrench, screwdriver, extra hooks, pins, and some plastic drift wheels and mirrors too. Hmm, that’s a really big box for the transmitter. All right, it feels old-school. Really old-school. Nothing to write home about, pretty typical. Oh, it looks like it has high, medium, and low-speed options, and this particular channel must be for lights. Now that’s a neat addition, for sure. Oh, and don’t forget the powder coating.
In the world of RC vehicles, surprises are abound. No one saw this coming, but the unexpected has become a reality. The incredible features and attention to detail in this 160 scale crawler have left enthusiasts in awe. From the imposing logo to the impressive max version, it’s evident that this little beast is no ordinary toy.
As we explore the intricacies of the miniature crawler, we come across unexpected delights. The brushless motor, all-metal internals, and other aluminum components give it an edge over the competition. But even with the pro version’s brush setup and slight compromise on metal components, the performance remains exceptional.
However, not everything is perfect. The smooshed wheelbase raises eyebrows and brings forth a sense of wonder. Is it intentional or merely an oversight? One can’t help but ponder the reasoning behind this design choice.
And then there’s the packaging. The assortment of goodies that accompany our miniature friend is impressive. From the practical tools to the intriguing extras like plastic drift wheels and mirrors, the experience is elevated. And let’s not forget the transmitter, with its old-school charm and added lighting channel. It’s a nostalgic touch that takes us back to the roots of RC vehicles.
A Surprising Discovery
I like that pretty 18 million wires. If I take this apart, I need to try to remember how to put it back back together. That is quite the heavyduty plastic front end like there’s, some serious lights that are going on in there. I was like why isn’t there paint on those lights, there’s tail lights too.
An Unusual Configuration
Cool friction dampers, friction dampers, but it works for the SG. Maybe it works for this thing, too, 1500 milliamp lithium ion flip out. Yeah, got it this isn’t anodized aluminum, it’s metal and it’s like outer coated. It is pretty rigid, that’s going to hold it really well. Wheels feel adequate, nice gucy front bumper little diffuser in the back. These don’t look all that robust and then the front too H, maybe I’ll be wrong. Maybe I’ll be wrong.
Astonishing Features
Whoa, that’s got quite the throw. Look at the ACR on that thing, that’s crazy! I don’t know if you can see inside there, but that’s a 2440 4500 KV motor, so it’s got cvds in the front dog bones in the rear and they look pretty substantial, has cool little break hexes inside there too. I like that, and it has bearings all through RO and just listen to it. Oh yeah. That sounds really good, and if you look inside the plastic where the motor goes, I think this can handle a 390 can okay.
A Surprisingly Large Chassis
So this is the SG chassis. This is a little bit bigger. The wheels are definitely bigger in size too, and the SG was a pretty basic flat panel design.

Unforeseen Excellence in Remote Control Cars
Oh so dirty a dirty RC is a loved RC. It is a big 16 in scale car look at the SG stock. It even has a little bit of rake towards the front end.
This SG look how high up it is its way off the ground. You get way more clearance, though you can probably do a lot more with it without bottoming out theres, a ton of tow on these rear wheels and the front tow in as well, and if youve ever had an SG, you realize they tow in and they kind Of make it hard to control this one, on the other hand, is Straight Like These are square, and these are square like look how straight that is: theres, no toe and theres, barely any camber its way, bigger, thats, a big 16 scale car, maybe Im not being Fair, its its its own car lets, Let It Be its own Music car…
Unparalleled Performance
So it does come with a ton of different light functions, mostly with that Halo. I like the one where it kind of like glows yeah that ones cool. It does have indicators, though, like really intense indicators.
Servos, pretty quick Ive got it on low right now, sounds low, medium, wo, wao, difference between low and medium, its actually pretty quick and lets try High. I think this things going to scream sounds deadly its like a Dodge in the back and kind of a Camaro in the front, its like they got together and got Music busy…
A Surprisingly Pleasant Day
It’s actually kind of a nice day, and things are a bit dry. The weather conditions have unexpectedly aligned in our favor, creating a perfect environment for some RC car action. The terrain, although slightly uneven, poses no challenge to the remarkable clearance and stability of the car.
As we navigate the surroundings, the absence of toe and minimal camber contribute to the car’s straight trajectory and exceptional control. The manufacturers have truly designed a car that stands out among its peers. Its size, a substantial 16-scale, is a testament to its ambition and uniqueness.
Unconventional Functionality
In addition to its impressive performance, the car boasts a wide range of light functions, with the Halo feature being a personal favorite. The glow emitted by this function adds a touch of enchantment to the overall experience. Moreover, the indicators, with their intense brightness, ensure that all movements are communicated clearly.
The servos exhibit remarkable speed, with the low and medium settings already providing a thrilling experience. However, it is the high setting that truly unleashes the car’s potential. The acceleration is so rapid that it resembles the power of a Dodge in the rear and the agility of a Camaro in the front. This unexpected combination creates a captivating and exhilarating driving experience.
The Unexpected Speed
Like an expert. My GPS is dead because I was in a hurry to get out and shoot. This thing is actually like kind of a navy blue, a metallic Fleck in there too, its kind of nice, okay, first rip 2s high speed lets, go thats, actually really quick. Friction dampers aren’t doing it any help, but it’s pretty quick for 2x seems a lot more stable too, with that longer wheelbase than the SG best road to drive on too that things Music fast, it really Music.
A Thrilling Gap
Rib, oh Music, God that was a sick Gap. I have not been nice and nothings broken yet sweet. Oh I launched dirt farther than I launch the car uh. Oh uh. Oh it does not like the water. Huh does not like the water 20 minutes later, that little bit of water killed the lights too worth of the wise. Keep this thing out of a puddle.
Unexpected Durability
The drift Wheels do have a little bit of a compound to them. They’re, not just slick plastic, Music, either. Music, oh my lights, came back on. My lights came back on Music woo, wo Music. This thing is way faster than the SG. It is pretty tough. Oh God M yucky Music wow, doof gnarly. It really feels weigher than the SG. I like it. I like it. A lot, and its surprisingly tough, except for the moistureless proof Electronics, is that a thing moistureless all right road tires back on lets. Send it off with the bang.
