Do you think youre up for the task lets go lucky it wasnt anything fragile behind there.

Fully Functional Micro RC Drift Car!

The Awaited Micro Drift Car

What is it? The one Ive been waiting for the micro drift car. This could be the worlds smallest RC drift car lets go, find out, wheres that FMS gone get here. You being the worlds biggest Micro, RC car Channel, if you were a regular youd, have seen many of these featured. This one is the drift one and Ive been after this for ages, theres, a few specs and stuff on the side. This is what Im interested in its got a giant. Is this actually going to be out of drift thats? What I want to find out

A Trip Down Memory Lane

Ive had loads of these from the first ones. They ever brought out the minis to a couple of Fast and Furious cars. Ive still got this one, this was a limited run, I think, of a th. Well, it was meant to be limited whatever it was, I dont know, but Fast and Furious version. One of the more recent ones is this one, American muscle, car and every time they release them.

The Drift Car

But this is the drift one. Oh, that is a nice green and that is an R34 style isnt it wow. This has got a bit more weight to it and you can see its actually got like brass Wheels, theyre the actual Wheels thats. Really weird. You get a couple of spare Bodies In The Box both the same, but you can paint them how you like not a bad little micro, screwdriver that and theres your transmitter that just locks in on there. You got all your functions on there, you got. You got a steering Jewel rate, steering trim, throttle Jew rate that says SVC. I dont know what that one is, and then you got a channel three there which usually does your lights and then a channel four there which Im not sure if it does anything.

Instructions and Charging

But I will check the instructions comes with a USB charger. You can also charge it from the transmitter and it also comes with a little practice circle circle fixing exercise Im going to read the instructions Im going to put this on charge and then well have a closer look at this, and then we well see if we Can drift it fully charged?

Closer Look

Look at this thing.

The Design

The fully functional micro RC drift car is designed with a striking GTR style, and the vibrant green color adds a touch of elegance to its appearance. However, one aspect that could have been improved is the wheels. They are plain brass, and it would have been more appealing if they were coated in black. Nevertheless, the car exudes a sense of ‘Lock and Load’ excitement.

Gyro Control

To understand how the car operates, one must delve into the instructions and examine the SVC, which stands for gyro control. The gyro can be adjusted from zero to ten, allowing the user to determine the level of gyro functionality. At zero, the gyro is turned off completely, while at ten, it is in full control. In addition to the gyro control, the car features a throttle mechanism that offers three settings: 50, 70, and 100. It also includes underbody lights that can be switched on or off through channel four.

Headlights and Brake Lights

Channel four of the car’s control system serves as a means to activate the headlights. These lights can be set to flash or remain constant, both at the front and rear of the car. However, it is important to note that while it may appear as if the lights are flashing, they are actually continuously on. On a positive note, there are no indicators on this model, which eliminates any potential confusion for the user. Additionally, the car has functioning brake lights, enhancing its overall realism.

Testing Performance

Without utilizing the gyro, controlling the car becomes quite challenging due to its slipperiness. On carpeted surfaces, the drift car struggles to maintain stability, making it unsuitable for such environments. However, on laminate flooring, its performance improves significantly. The car’s steering mechanism is worth noting, as it provides a fully proportional and smooth maneuverability. Even with the dual rate set to its maximum, the car maintains a good steering angle, which is impressive considering its small size. Furthermore, the throttle mechanism operates in a fully proportional manner, allowing for precise acceleration control.

In conclusion, the fully functional micro RC drift car showcases a stunning design inspired by the GTR style. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as the plain brass wheels, the car offers a gyro control system, adjustable throttle settings, and underbody lights. Its performance on different surfaces varies, but when driven on laminate flooring, it demonstrates drift capabilities. Overall, this compact RC car proves to be an exciting and versatile addition to any enthusiast’s collection.

The Micro RC Drift Car

Nice, right? Will it drift? Let’s put it halfway. First, oh, it’s going to drift. Yes, I reckon I need to do a little bit of practice to get it properly. But oh man, right, let’s go 100, right? Full, full gyro. Now yeah, full. So full gyro, yeah, a bit twitchy, but now we’ve established it drifts.

A Drift Course

We need to make a little drift course just to double check. It does not work. No, it doesn’t work on music carpet. Music, oh music, it’s really difficult to drift, especially in like a tight space like this. I mean, you could argue this is kind of scaled too well, 176th, and I’m sure if you drove this for enough hours, you’d get used to it. I mean, I’ve been driving it for about half an hour now, and well, I say I’ve gotten a bit better. It doesn’t look like it does it, but I’ve definitely come on, definitely improved. You kind of have to let the gyro do a lot of the work and don’t try and correct it too much yourself. Nothing like a 1/10th drift car, that is for sure, but it is quite fun.

The Micro RC Semi-Truck

However, it is not as fun as the truck. So it is just a well, it’s just a truck, but it is just so cool. Check the trailer out as well. The trailer is powered and you can lower it, raise it. Let’s see if we can do this. First time, put it under there, drop it down.
