Introduction
FMS has released a new and crazy Mini RC Basher that is sure to excite enthusiasts of all ages. With its unique features and design, this Mini RC Basher promises to provide endless hours of thrilling fun. Let’s take a closer look at what makes this RC car stand out from the rest.
The New Crazy Mini RC Basher from FMS!
This looks like a brand new platform. I don’t know if it’s taken from anything else, I’ve not really had a proper look. So I don’t know if they’ve just got like a third party chassis and put their stuff on it, but it looks awesome.
Excitement Building
You wait till you see it out. The box, I’ve already had a sneak peek wow! I’ve already had a play fully licensed Chevy Colorado. Unleash the Power of endurance and dominate every terrain. Now, we’ll talk about it in a minute as a mini Bash.
Variety of Colors
The word Basher and Music. This, this… it comes in three different colors. I’ll show you all of them. This is the brushed one. They are planning a brushless version, but at the moment I think you can only get the brushed one.
Packed with Features
FMS, it’s got all the bells and whistles. Two speeds transmission, bearings all around, metal gear steering servo. So obviously you get a set of instructions. Look at it! Look at it and just a standard FM transmitter.
Functional Design
The transmitter has steering jewel rate and throttle jewel rate. Also, steering trim and throttle trim for your two-speed gearbox. There’s no button on this one, so it’s probably not got lights, but these transmitters are fine, no problems with them. They fit nicely in the hand, just a functional transmitter. Look how cute it looks.
A Quick Note on Another RC
In fact, while we’re here, look! I got an armor Grom. Here, video coming with that soon, although it’s broken at the moment, it’s got no back end.
New Design and Color Options
The new mini RC basher from FMS is a sight to behold. With its small size, measuring at around 118, it is truly a compact powerhouse. The standard size MJX toys pale in comparison to this tiny beast.
What makes this mini RC basher even more appealing is the variety of color options available. You can choose from three different colors: white orange and black, gray green and black (which reminds me of Team TRC colors), and a vibrant blue with hints of red or orange. Each color option also comes with a slightly different design, adding a touch of uniqueness to each model.
Premium Suspension System
One of the standout features of the mini RC basher is its premium suspension system. The oil shocks used in this toy lend it a smooth and effortless performance. The suspension feels top-notch and adds a touch of luxury to the overall driving experience.
Underneath the Hood
Taking a peek under the RC basher’s body, we find some interesting components. The body is held together with clipless technology. There are a couple of clips located at the back, and by pushing them in, the body can be effortlessly lifted off. Although a little bit fiddly, once you get the hang of it, it becomes a breeze.
Beneath the body, we are greeted with an impressive sight. A powerful 370 motor is nestled there, showcasing the energy and potential of this mini RC basher. It’s important to note that while the version I had the chance to play with was brushed, there is also a brushless option available.
The RC basher is equipped with two servos, one for steering and one for the gearbox. These servos are neatly and efficiently placed within the toy, making for a seamless and optimized experience.
In conclusion, the new mini RC basher from FMS is a fantastic addition to the world of remote control toys. Its compact yet powerful nature, coupled with the variety of color options and premium features, make it an enticing choice for enthusiasts. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced pilot, this mini RC basher is sure to provide hours of fun and exhilaration.
Two-Speed Gearbox
One of the standout features of the Mini RC Basher is its two-speed gearbox. It offers both low and high speeds, with the low speed resembling that of a crawler. However, it is worth noting that the low speed comes with an open differential, leaving users wondering what exactly it was intended for. Nevertheless, this function adds an interesting twist to the overall experience.
Useful ESC Placement
The Mini RC Basher’s electronic speed controller (ESC) is conveniently situated at the back of the car. Its placement ensures easy access and usability. Additionally, the battery strap is designed to be easily detachable, allowing for quick battery changes during playtime. Speaking of batteries, this Mini RC Basher is equipped with a powerful 9900mAh two-cell lipo battery for extended play sessions.
Durable Chassis and Suspension
The chassis of the Mini RC Basher showcases a sleek and well-thought-out design. While it is unclear whether FMS developed this chassis specifically for this model or repurposed it from another design, its uniqueness is evident. The hex hardware used throughout the car adds to its durability and strength. The double Wishbone suspension provides stability and efficient performance during high-speed action.
Impeccable Handling
The Mini RC Basher boasts oil shocks that deliver a smooth and responsive driving experience. The front suspension feels tight and controlled, ensuring precise steering and maneuverability. However, the back of the car may feel slightly looser, but still manageable. Additionally, the adjustable wheelie bar is a great feature for those looking to perform impressive stunts and tricks.
Attention to Detail
FMS has paid attention to the finer details in the design of this Mini RC Basher. The steering blocks are peelable, allowing for customization and personalization. The inclusion of CVDS bearings enhances the overall performance and longevity of the car. The tires are made of soft material, providing excellent grip on various terrains. The basic yet appealing design of the wheels adds to the overall aesthetics of the Mini RC Basher.
New Crazy Mini RC Basher from FMS!
I think. While we went for that battery charger talk about the problem I had so I got sent these beginning of October or maybe Middle October. I think – or it might been beginning November, no release date and stuff.
So I just kind of catch in the box and I thought oh Ill. Just have a quick sneak. Look at one and I charged the battery and had a little play of it. And I was running this around the workshop floor and I glanced a bit of rolled up carpet in fact, Ill show you and I just caught the wheel like that on there. It might have been that side. I cant remember and just in here hang on. I might to pop it out there we go just there.
It broke the connection to like the servo Saver in there. So so I lost steering it wasnt fast. It wasnt going fast at all. It just glanced it and then it well yeah broke so being the professional that I am, I emailed FMS straight away, said theres a potential problem with this. I think you need to look at it and their test team um had a quick look and also found that that may be a bit of an issue and they delayed the launch.
It was meant to be launched last month, but theyve delayed it till now and its not been made all that clear. Whether the first batch that were all made are going to come fixed or, if theyre, just going to supply you with the revised part.
Durable and Replaceable Parts
One of the great aspects of the new Crazy Mini RC Basher from FMS is the ability to replace any broken parts with more durable alternatives. It’s always frustrating when a beloved RC car breaks, but with this new model, you can easily swap out any damaged components.
Of course, it’s important to note that once the first batch of these RC bashers is sold out, it’s highly likely that any remaining stock will have already incorporated these improved changes. However, without having specific information about the alterations, it’s difficult to make any definitive statements.
Impressions from a Quick Run
During a test run in my workshop, I did encounter an issue. While running the Crazy Mini RC Basher, a problem came up, but I cannot say with certainty that this issue applies to all units or is a widespread concern. These observations were made solely based on my personal experience.
Official Release and Availability of Parts
FMS has officially released the Crazy Mini RC Basher today. As of now, I am still finishing the editing process for the accompanying video and will be uploading and releasing it today as well. If you’re interested in purchasing one, be aware that FMS offers a full range of spare parts on their website for this model.
However, when I took a look at the prices of these parts, I was slightly taken aback. For instance, an arm set costs $2.99, drive cups are also priced at $2.99, and a full set of differential gears comes in at $3.99. Even the diff housing is priced at $2.99. These prices do seem reasonable on their own, but when compared to the cost of a complete differential with drive shaft priced at $119.99, it’s clear that the full diff components are significantly more expensive.
Additionally, a clear body for the Crazy Mini RC Basher will set you back $12.99, and a full metal gear set specifically designed for the transmission is priced at a whopping $399. As I perused the website, I also stumbled upon a V2 drive cup. Unfortunately, the price for this item was not listed, so I am unable to provide any further information about it.
Pricing and Value
The Crazy Mini RC Basher is available for purchase at a price of $149, which seems fair considering the quality and features it offers. However, it would have been nice to see a slightly lower price point, perhaps even undercutting the Armor Grom. Although it may not be a direct comparison due to differences in scale and speed, a more competitive price would have added to the appeal of this new RC vehicle.
As a bonus for early buyers, FMS is offering a complimentary replacement drive cup with each purchase. This is a nice addition and adds value for those who are considering buying the Crazy Mini RC Basher.
The New Crazy Mini RC Basher from FMS!
Today, we have an exciting video to share with you. The new crazy mini RC basher from FMS is here, and we can’t wait to test it out. But before we begin, let’s talk about some interesting details about this little beast.
Testing it Indoors
After charging the battery, it’s time for the real test. We decided to start by testing it indoors. The first thing we wanted to see is how well it performs in terms of speed. We wanted to compare it to what we had heard about its capabilities. So, we decided to do a few little jumps to showcase its speed.
Surprisingly, the speed is much faster than we expected. Despite its small size, it packs quite a punch. We even tried switching gears, and in the second gear, it managed to do a wheelie! The acceleration is pretty impressive for such a tiny RC basher.
Steering and Obstacles
Next, we wanted to test the steering. It does feel a bit slow, but considering its size, it’s not a major issue. However, we decided to take it outside to see if it could handle some obstacles. The snow from last night made it a bit challenging, but we were determined to give it a go.
With full throttling in first gear and its open differentials, we aimed to see if it could overcome the various obstacles in its path. Surprisingly, it managed to handle them quite well. It even managed to get over an obstacle that we initially thought might be too wide for it.
An Idea Strikes
As we were testing the RC basher, an idea struck us. What if we try something to make the experience even more adventurous? With a spark of excitement, we went ahead with our idea, eager to see how the basher would handle it.

The Thrilling Jumps and Smooth Landings
I don’t want to break it, but it jumps nice really. The new mini RC basher from FMS is packed with excitement as it effortlessly jumps and lands with finesse. The oil shocks equipped in this little beast ensure smooth landings, making it a joy to watch and operate. The thrill of seeing it soar through the air is addictive!
A Challenge in the Snow
I don’t know how well we’re going to get on outside, but check this. We had a bit of snow last night, all fresh. Looking at the car and the state it may end up in, I hesitate to take it out and get all the snow and dirt on it. It has become somewhat of a “shelf Queen” for me. But curiosity gets the best of me. How far do you think we can go in the snow? Probably not very far, to be honest. It seems like today might not be the perfect day for an outdoor adventure.
Unforeseen Obstacles
Let’s try a longer run up this time. Maybe that will make a difference. Oh, exactly the same. The car struggles to make progress and finds itself in a laughter-inducing situation. Now, just look at the state of you. You misted up my lens, and you got snow all over you. A pet dryer would come in handy to fix this mess. It’s essential during this time of year. I’ll leave a link in the description, as people often ask me how I clean and dry my stuff. This little mishap makes me think we should wait for the snow to clear before attempting any more ambitious escapades.
A Surprise at the Skate Park
Once the snow clears, I reckon this RC basher will do just fine at the skate park. Maybe we’ll even discover some hidden talents it possesses. I’m not sure if a skate park was in mind when it was built, but I definitely have a skate park in mind. The possibilities and unexpected discoveries make the anticipation grow.
Testing the Upgraded Stock
This particular RC basher is not just an ordinary stock model. It has been upgraded out of the box from the first batch. I remember mentioning earlier that I thought it had a bit of a weak steering arm. Now it’s time to put it to the test. Will the upgrade live up to its promises of improved performance? The excitement builds as the moment of truth approaches.
Challenging the Skate Park
If it was a one all my bodies come off, so this should be a little test to see uh if it’s actually skate parkable in that second gear, it’s got a nice amount of speed, there’s a nice little jump just here you get it right.
A Promising Start
It looks Music good if it survives well. Actually Ive got a spare one haven’t. I we need to give it a speed, run cuz. This has got a little bit of Pep with that second gear. Can we clear the stairs you watch Sam Pilgrim, the stair set of Doom? Yes, this thing’s so cool. Maybe my little contact with a carpet was just a freak accident. Oh suns, coming out look its a rarity recently right.
Surprising Maneuvers
Will it backflip, the question everyone asks they don’t, but no front flip, oh, we’re still good. Honestly, I was wrong. I think, about this. I might even cut out the Music video, oh, its still, good, Music low gear. We are 12 minutes into this battery and it is still going strong Applause.
Interruption by Rain
A oh rains coming a the rain has to always spoil the fun man. One last jump make it big. Oh okay, another last jump come on front flip front. Flip, oh well! Take that we will take that let’s go anyway, I’m getting wet.
Impressed with the Performance
Well, what can I say? I am super impressed with that. That was 14 minutes at the skate park before the rain stopped play. Rain usually doesn’t stop me, but it’s pretty cold and I didn’t have a coat. Very impressive, there’s still a little bit in the battery as well, that showing still got a little bit in there so you’re.
The Durability of the New Mini RC Basher
Looking at 15 to 20 minutes, I feel like I almost didn’t need to mention that I broke it when I first got one because this little beauty can take quite a kick at the skate park and come out unscathed. The body may have a few scratches on the top, but that’s about it. The build quality is impressive; I couldn’t ask for anything more.
Metal Upgrades Galore!
Not only is the RC Basher impressive in terms of its durability, but you can also further enhance its performance with a range of metal upgrades. Take a look at these machined aluminum parts! They add a touch of sleekness and strength to the already impressive machine. FMS has really gone above and beyond with this 124 scale RC Basher.
Speedy and Well-Built
The two-speed gearbox is a game-changer for such a small RC car. It is well put together and excels in speed. Unfortunately, we haven’t had the chance to do a speedrun yet, so we can’t provide you with an exact figure. However, it’s time to put our doubts to rest and get the GPS to measure its speed accurately.
An Unexpected Surprise
As we watch the RC Basher zip down the track, it becomes quite perplexing. It looks faster than it actually is. Trying to guess its speed is a challenge in itself. But let’s take a wild guess, shall we? I reckon it’s going to hit around 16 mph. A bit on the conservative side, but not too extreme.
