The FMS FPV RC Car

Today is day four of our 25-day RC video series, where we showcase the coolest micro FPV RC cars. If you haven’t watched the previous videos, don’t worry; there won’t be any spoilers in this one. You can catch up later. So, let’s get started!

The Flush 30 and AL35

On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me an FMS FPV RC car. I’ve been waiting to say that for ages! Today, we have the Flush 30 and the AL35. Both of these models have similar names, but they are slightly different. Let’s take a closer look.

The Flush 30 has a sleek design and is perfect for those who love BMW cars. It resembles a three-series model and comes in a stunning white color. FMS has stepped away from their usual mini-scale crawlers and ventured into ground vehicles with this model. It’s a refreshing change of pace from their usual aircraft offerings.

The GTR Body Style

Now, onto the AL35, which features a GTR body style. It’s fascinating to see the various body styles FMS offers for their RC cars. This particular model showcases their versatility and ability to cater to different preferences.

FPV Experience

But what sets these cars apart is their FPV capability. FPV, or First Person View, allows you to experience the thrill of racing as if you were sitting inside the car. It adds a new level of immersion and excitement to the RC car hobby.

Thrilling Races

Imagine racing these cars through your backyard or a designated RC track. You can navigate sharp turns, overtake opponents, and experience the adrenaline rush of high-speed races. The FPV feature takes the excitement to a whole new level. It’s like being in the driver’s seat!

Body Styles and Colors

So this particular RC car comes in three different colors: white, gray, and blue. The author of this article has the white one. Another body style option available is the GTR style body, which comes in gray, blue, and black. The article briefly mentions these options and leaves it at that, indicating that there is more to learn about the product.

FPV Camera and Goggles

The RC car is equipped with a tiny FPV camera on top. The author speculates that the car might come with FPV goggles, and upon opening the box, it is confirmed that they are included. Although the author does not remember the make of a similar product they had reviewed before, they believe that the goggles and controller in this kit are the same. The controller is described as funky and fitting well in the hand, with easy reach to the steering and throttle controls.

Gyro and Control

The author recalls their past experience with another RC car similar to this one, where it had difficulty staying on track and was challenging to control. However, there is hope that this new car has a working gyro, which could potentially be a game changer. The controller also features steering and throttle trim, as well as a gyro, which adds to the excitement and possibilities for better control.

Additional Features

The car comes with headlights, chassis lights, an FPV camera, and a matching design. The author mentions that there are other items in the box which they have yet to explore, such as the instruction manual and aerials for the goggles. There is anticipation for what these additional items may bring, further enhancing the overall experience of using the micro FPV RC car.

The Goggles and Charger

Presuming that the goggles need charging, let’s go ahead and put them on charge. While we do that, let’s take a look at the car. I need to find where to plug the charger in. Ah, there it is, under the car. Now, there are instructions that I’m sure I’ll have to read to figure out what to do next. The preparations for running and charging are important.

The Gyro and Camera

I notice that the car doesn’t have an arrow pointing to the gyro, so I’ll have to figure it out myself. The gyro adds an element of stability and control, so it’s definitely a cool feature. Now, let’s see if I launched the camera correctly. Yes, I did! Hopefully, it’s going to work perfectly. Look, there’s the little camera and it fits perfectly. The attention to detail is impressive. The car has a nice BMW look to it, and it seems to be tuned for high performance. I’m not sure if it’s officially licensed, but it definitely looks really nice. Plus, it has twin motors, which is very interesting. I can see them under the car, and it’s quite intricate. I wouldn’t want to have to put all that together myself.

The Second Car

By the way, I’ve also taken out the second car from the box to have a closer look. It has a nice GTR style, which is very appealing. I decided to check underneath, and it turns out it’s slightly different from the first car. It’s always interesting to compare the details and features of different models.

The Coolest Micro ‘FPV’ RC Car EVER! – Day 4 is all about exploring the various components and features of this amazing RC car. From the charging process to the gyro and camera, everything has been carefully designed to provide an exciting experience. The steering is incredibly controllable, making it easy to navigate and maneuver through various obstacles. Although it seems to lack a gyro, it still provides a smooth driving experience, which is unexpectedly cool.

The Camera Setup

To fully experience the excitement of FPV (First Person View), I decided to set up the camera on the RC car. After switching it on, the camera quickly connected to the screen, providing a clear view of the car’s surroundings. All the necessary accessories, such as an SD card, USB charger, and possibly headphones, were already set up. However, changing the screen distance is not an option, which is a slight drawback.

Exploring with the RC Car

With everything set up, I couldn’t wait to take the RC car on a magical adventure. Despite the slight blurriness on camera, the FPV view through the goggles was clear enough to enjoy the experience. The RC car’s smooth driving allowed me to effortlessly navigate through different terrains and even attempted tricks like a figure of eight. I was genuinely impressed with how easy it was to control.

Chasing a Train

As I roamed around, I noticed a train passing by in the distance. Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to follow it with the RC car. With determination, I steered the car towards the train, mimicking its movements with excitement. It felt like a thrilling chase, adding an extra layer of fun to the RC car experience.

Adventuring at Dusk

As the day progressed, it started to get dark, creating a different atmosphere for the RC car adventure. The headlights on the car illuminated the path ahead, giving me a sense of mystery and intrigue. Although the surroundings were getting harder to see, it didn’t stop me from exploring further. The RC car’s resilience and ability to adapt to different lighting conditions made the experience even more captivating.

In conclusion, the fourth day of exploring with the coolest micro FPV RC car proved to be just as thrilling as the previous days.
