This RC car has impressive features
This thing looks like it could actually be really cool brushless motor flaming speeds of 70 kmph, waterproof, all metal drivetrain, maybe even metal differential casings. That would be absolutely unheard of and I’m excited to look, and is that a transmitter with a speedometer on it?
Minor drawbacks with the accessories
These do feel like oil filed shocks, but the oil probably needs to be a little thicker, all right and here’s, the other goodies. You get a really cheap plastic, wrench, wheelie bar and a charger, and yeah, that is fake, as could be. In fact, this thing weighs about an ounce. I’m trying to get this wheelie bar on, and the screws that come out are too short and nope. It does not come with longer screws found some. I can use out of one of my mini Parts bins. These seem like decent screws, but they didn’t even reach the actual meat in the plastic that they’re supposed to grab into kind of strange. This wheelie bar looks like it’ll work nicely. It doesn’t lift the car up too high.
Quality concerns with the remote
I cannot get over how cheap this remote is. Hopefully, they pumped all their savings from not building that up into the car cuz. The car does look well-made, got really short control arms, so this may not be the best for jumping. I certainly plan on finding that out, though the tires feel really nice. If we don’t like this car well, probably use those somewhere else. Metal chassis almost looks like WL toys it’s laid out.
Overall, with its impressive features, such as the brushless motor and high speeds, this RC car seems to have a lot of potential. However, there are some minor drawbacks with the accessories and quality concerns with the remote. While the car itself appears to be well-made, the short control arms may limit its jumping capabilities. Nevertheless, we are excited to put this RC car to the test and see how it performs.
Body Pins and Motor
The first thing to note about this RC car is that the chest body pins do not have pull tabs on them. This might not seem like a big deal initially, but it can be quite frustrating when trying to remove or attach the body. Additionally, the car does not come with any extra body pins, which means that if you happen to lose one, you’ll have to find a replacement yourself.
One positive aspect of this car is its nice-sized brushless motor with a metal motor mount. This provides durability and stability to the overall structure of the car. The upper chest brace is also solid, adding to the car’s robustness. However, it is worth mentioning that the body mounts do not feel super flexible, and there is a possibility of losing one of them in the long run.
Control Arms and Front Bumper
The control arms on this RC car have a lot of flex to them, which is generally a good thing. It allows for better maneuverability on different terrains. On the downside, the metal hinge pin brackets on the car’s front bumper feel quite chintzy. This raises concerns about their longevity and durability.
The steering linkage, although made of plastic, feels really tight, which is a positive aspect. However, it is still uncertain how long it will hold up under continuous use. Another aspect that might cause apprehension is the battery bracket. Although it might initially seem unstable, it could potentially perform better than it looks.
Upper Arms and Shock Towers
The upper arms of this RC car have an odd shape to them, and they only have a mounting point in the front. This design choice might raise questions about the car’s stability and balance when turning. However, the metal shock towers provide additional support and strength to the overall structure.
One unique feature of this RC car is its super flexible wing. It adds a touch of innovation and creativity to the car’s design. Additionally, there is even a peekaboo hole for the spur gear, which adds to the overall appeal of the car.
Initial Impressions and Performance
The overall impression of this RC car is a bit perplexing. It feels different, not necessarily in a bad way, and it holds the promise of great things. However, without any prior experience with the car, it is difficult to determine what to expect.
Attempting to test the car’s performance, the first interaction is a bit disheartening. The controller loses signal and the car starts moving on its own for a second. This is definitely not a good sign and raises concerns about the car’s reliability.
Despite these initial setbacks, the intention is to give the car another chance. Meanwhile, upgrades are being put on a different car, one that has already proven to be more reliable and perform better.
Why choose THIS RC car?
When it comes to RC cars, not all models are created equal. In this article, we will discuss why you should consider buying THIS RC car instead of that one.
Improved Controller
One major drawback of that RC car is its controller. If the car gets more than 20 ft away from you, there is a massive delay, making it difficult to control. Even after you let go of the throttle, it continues to throttle on its own, which could potentially lead to the car getting lost or damaged.
Unmatched Speed and Power
THIS RC car, on the other hand, boasts impressive speed and power. It can zoom through any track with ease, providing an exhilarating experience for any RC enthusiast. However, speed and power are not everything if the car lacks proper handling.
Poor Handling
That RC car suffers from a lack of handling capabilities. Even with new batteries, it has yet to rebound and perform as expected. Its performance in dirt settings may be better, but in other scenarios, it fails to meet the mark. This raises concerns about the overall quality of the car and whether there might be manufacturing issues.
Flawed Design
While THIS RC car has brakes, it still falls short in certain areas. Despite its potential, it lacks the finesse and responsiveness that should come with a well-designed RC car. This flaw can be frustrating for users who expect better performance and control.
Affordable Price and Great Performance
On the bright side, THIS RC car comes at a reasonable price, making it accessible to a wide range of RC enthusiasts. It offers a nice stance with wide arms, providing stability and improved performance. Considering its price, it delivers good value for money.
In conclusion, if you’re in the market for an RC car, it is highly recommended to choose THIS RC car over that one. Despite some shortcomings, it offers better control, speed, power, and overall performance. Its flaws are outweighed by its affordability and the joy it brings to the track. So, don’t hesitate to buy THIS RC car and get ready to experience the excitement of remote-controlled racing.
Why You Should Choose This RC Car
If you’re in the market for an RC car, you might be overwhelmed by the options available. However, let me tell you why you should choose this RC car over the other options out there.
Affordability and Quality
Not only is this RC car affordable, but it also offers great quality for the price. It’s a budget-friendly option that doesn’t compromise on performance.
Smooth Driving Experience
One of the things I like the most about this RC car is the way it drives. It offers a smooth and enjoyable experience that will keep you entertained for hours.
Durable Construction
When it comes to RC cars, durability is key. You want a car that can withstand the occasional crash or rough terrain. This RC car is built to last, with robust construction and reliable components.
Improved Shocks
One common complaint with RC cars is their shocks. However, with this RC car, you won’t have to worry. It comes with better shocks that provide improved stability and a more comfortable ride.
Impressive Speed
While the box may claim a certain top speed, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this RC car can reach speeds of up to 32 mph. It may not match the advertised speed, but it’s still pretty impressive for its size and price range.
Fun Features
This RC car is packed with fun features that will enhance your experience. From cool flips to popping batteries, it never fails to entertain. You’ll find yourself constantly discovering new things to enjoy about this car.
A Few Downsides
Nobody likes to dwell on the negatives, but it’s important to mention a few downsides of this RC car. The wing tends to break easily, so be prepared for that. Additionally, the car’s power can occasionally cut out, affecting its performance.
Why THIS RC Car is a Better Choice
When it comes to choosing the perfect RC car, there are numerous options available in the market. While some may catch your eye with their sleek design and impressive features, it is essential to delve deeper into their functionality and durability. In this article, we will explore why “THIS” RC car is a better choice compared to its counterparts.
The Promise and Disappointment
Initially, this RC car seemed to hold a lot of promise. Its features were certainly appealing, and there was much to like about it. However, after putting it to the test, it became evident that it fell short of expectations.
Design Flaws
One of the major disappointments with this RC car is the issue with the control arm screw. The upper control arms depend on this screw, which needs to be slightly loose for proper suspension. Unfortunately, tightening it too much leads to binding of the suspension, compromising the car’s performance.
Body Mount and Alignment Concerns
Although the velcro body mount of this RC car generally functions adequately, there have been instances where the front part has come loose. Fortunately, it has not fallen off completely. However, losing one alignment peg was problematic, though it did not significantly impact the car’s overall performance.
Enhanced Performance
Despite its flaws, the improved performance of this RC car shines through. The upgraded tires ensure better traction and handling, allowing it to dig into turns and slide with ease. Though these tires lack foam, their absence does not hinder the car’s performance, thanks to its lightweight construction.
Room for Improvement
Recognizing the need for further enhancement, it is worth considering adding better shocks to this RC car. This simple modification can greatly enhance its overall performance and durability, making it even more enjoyable to use.
Exploring the Alternatives
It is important to note that a pro version of this RC car from a different brand is also available. While the specifics of this alternative are yet to be fully explored, it has been listed as having a metal differential housing box, potentially indicating higher durability and strength.
Issues with the Other RC Car
When considering which RC car to buy, it is important to take note of certain issues with one particular model. For instance, the speed of the car is a significant factor to consider. The previous model we tested had a top speed of 32 mph, which is quite impressive. However, it is worth mentioning that the car frequently loses signal, which can be frustrating.
In addition to the signal problem, we also encountered some issues with the construction of the car. The axle of the car is problematic, as it tends to break easily. This resulted in us losing the battery on one occasion. Furthermore, we noticed that the replacement battery we purchased for the car is slightly thinner than the original one it comes with, which is not ideal.
Construction Flaws
Another flaw we noticed in the construction of the car is the upper brace. It appears to have been added as an afterthought, as it does not fit correctly under the car. Instead, it sits on top of screws, and one particular screw does not even tighten all the way. Additionally, the brace itself is bowed, which gives a very unprofessional impression.
Furthermore, the quality of the car’s battery leaves much to be desired. Despite charging it up, the battery was still dead. This indicates a major issue with the car’s power supply. In fact, we would go as far as to say that the car is completely unusable in its current state. It is disappointing considering the potential it initially displayed.
Recommendation for an Alternative RC Car
On a more positive note, we would like to recommend another RC car that has proven to be a better option. We found another model that we like a lot, despite it not being as fast as the previous one we discussed. It does, however, offer a multitude of advantages that make it a worthwhile purchase.
This particular RC car offers more promise in terms of overall quality and performance. Although it may not reach the same top speed, it compensates with various other features that enhance the user experience. In fact, we are so impressed with this car that we have ordered a professional version, which comes with sand tires for an added touch of versatility.
In conclusion, if you are in the market for an RC car, it is crucial to carefully consider the pros and cons of each model. While one car may have enticing features, it is important to evaluate any potential issues that may arise. By choosing the right RC car, you can ensure a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience while engaging in this exciting hobby.
Front Knuckles: A Weak Point?
When it comes to choosing the perfect RC car, one crucial aspect to consider is the durability. After all, no one wants a car that falls apart after a few rough races or jumps. This is why it’s essential to pay attention to the potential weak points of the RC cars in question. One such weakness that has been brought to our attention is the front knuckles.
Supposedly, we have discovered that certain RC cars on the market have front knuckles that are prone to damage. This can be quite disheartening for RC enthusiasts who invest time and money into their vehicles, only to have them succumb to the pressures of intense racing or rough terrain. However, not all hope is lost.
Extra Knuckles: A Welcome Surprise
Surprisingly, we stumbled upon an RC car that takes the issue of front knuckle durability seriously. This particular model not only addresses the weak point but goes a step further to provide a solution. With every purchase, this RC car includes extra knuckles in the box. Yes, you read that right!
Imagine the peace of mind you would experience knowing that even if the front knuckles were to succumb to the pressures of your daring stunts, you would have replacements readily available. No more delaying your racing adventures due to a lack of spare parts. This thoughtful inclusion of extra knuckles truly sets this RC car apart from others on the market.
Invest in Longevity
While other RC cars may boast impressive speed or flashy designs, they often fail to prioritize durability. Purchasing an RC car without considering its potential weak points can lead to frustration and disappointment. However, with this model that provides extra knuckles, you can rest assured that your investment will last longer.
By investing in an RC car that understands the importance of fortifying weak points, you are setting yourself up for a more enjoyable and sustainable RC experience. Whether you prefer high-speed races or daring jumps, having the assurance of spare parts readily available can make all the difference.
Make the Right Choice
When it comes to RC cars, not all are created equal. Some prioritize style over substance, while others take into account the need for durability and longevity. By purchasing an RC car that includes extra knuckles, you are making the right choice.
So, why settle for a car that will crumble under the pressure when you can opt for one that not only acknowledges its weak points but also provides a solution? Choose the RC car that empowers you to push the limits and go beyond what others thought possible. Choose the RC car that comes with extra knuckles.
Conclusion
Despite its flaws, I cannot help but love this RC car. It offers an affordable and enjoyable driving experience, with impressive speed and durability. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned RC enthusiast, this car is a solid choice. So, why settle for “that” RC car when you can have this one?
In conclusion, when it comes to purchasing an RC car, it is crucial to weigh the pros and cons of each option. Despite its setbacks, “THIS” RC car offers a promising performance, with room for improvement through simple modifications. However, if durability and strength are of paramount importance, considering the pro version from a different brand may be a better choice.
