The New RC Car Product
All right, this box does not look like the box that I need, come on. Okay, here we go. So I ordered some spares, the shock caps, the aluminum shock caps. I didn’t think I needed these, but I actually had one shock cap leak. And then I got some sway bars, which I don’t plan on changing these yet, but it’s these guys right here.
Unfortunate Incidents with RC Stuff
These are my hinge pin braces, my A plate, B plate, C plate, and D plate. I’m going to put these on now. What’s up, guys? Unfortunately, we’re starting this video with some fails. I’ve had some unfortunate incidents with my RC stuff and builds lately. I’ll show you another one. This is the setting of my last live feed. Yeah, I went live and I didn’t announce that I was going live. I just went live. I did that because a lot of you guys aren’t subscribed.
Trailer Troubles
So do me a favor, hit the Subscribe button, turn on notification Bell because I’m going to start going live randomly. Anyways, I decided that I was going to put this trailer on my Betty SCX24 because Axio just released this trailer for the SCX24. It’s an awesome trailer. However, you can see that it’s on my TRX 4M because apparently the way the hitch is set up, it only works for some of the SCX24s. I guess the ones with a longer wheelbase with longer chassis rails. I had to basically move my shock mounting points and, as you can see, my shock mounting points now are not straight up and down, which is not ideal for an RC car.
The Upgraded Shocks
Upon purchasing the upgraded shocks and trailer, I had high hopes for their compatibility with my RC car. However, to my disappointment, the shocks were not aligned properly and caused binding issues. It seemed that the chassis of the car was not long enough to accommodate the shocks, leaving me with no place to mount them. The same predicament applied to the hitch as well, as the designated area for mounting the hitch was already occupied by the shock tower. This situation left me feeling frustrated and perplexed.
Impressive Trailer Performance
Despite the setback with the shocks, the trailer itself proved to be impressive. I decided to connect it to my TRX 4M, and the process was surprisingly straightforward. All I had to do was remove the ball stud from the scx24 hitch and attach it to the TRX 4M hitch. After this simple adjustment, the trailer was ready to go. I decided to keep it in this configuration and returned the car to its original stock parts.
Recent RC Car Swap Meet Find
For those of you who have been curious about my recent RC car swap meet, I am pleased to share my latest acquisition. At the event, I stumbled upon a racecraft Command Module being sold by a fellow enthusiast. These Command Modules are highly sought-after and usually cost around $200.
