New Car Day: Unboxing the Team Associated Apex 2 Sport

It was a hot day, but that didn’t stop Mark Santa Maria and his daughter, Evan, from unboxing the new Team Associated Apex 2 Sport. This RTR (Ready-To-Run) car is a brushed model, meaning it doesn’t come with a battery or charger. But what it does come with is an amazing dachshund truck body with incredible details.

Features of the Apex 2 Sport

The Apex 2 Sport is Team Associated’s latest and greatest on-road platform. It features a durable and lightweight chassis, adjustable suspension, and a waterproof receiver box. It also has a low center of gravity, which helps to improve handling and stability.

Why Buy the Apex 2 Sport?

The Apex 2 Sport is perfect for those who want a car with amazing details and sentimental value. It’s also great for those who want a car that is durable and easy to handle. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced racer, the Apex 2 Sport is sure to provide hours of fun.

The Associated RC10 B6.1: A Look at the Latest 10-Scale RC Car

The Body and Chassis

The Associated RC10 B6.1 is a 10-scale RC car that features a unique body and chassis. It has a JDM look with mirrors on the hood, and the body details are insane. It also comes with some extra parts, such as shock limiters, shock parts, and a receiver box cover. The chassis is shorter than most 10-scale cars, giving it a unique look.

The Wheels

The wheels on the RC10 B6.1 are also unique. They come in a box with some nice colored calipers, which can be seen when looking closely. The calipers are red and Willow Wood, adding a cool detail to the car.

The Stickers

The RC10 B6.1 also comes with factory stickers, which can be applied to the car. However, it can be difficult to apply the stickers, and they can end up looking messy. It is best to take your time when applying the stickers to get the best look.

The Remote

The RC10 B6.1 also comes with a remote, which features a cool caliper. This adds another unique detail to the car, making it stand out from other 10-scale RC cars.

The Cars I’ve Seen: A Review

Wheelbase and Motor

The wheelbase of the car I’ve seen is a bit shorter than what I’m used to, but it’s not a problem since it’s not meant for performance. It has a 550 motor and a 15 turn three slot Reedy Power Sport ESC. It’s programmable and can run on 3s, but it’s probably best to avoid that as it might damage the body.

Appearance

The car looks absolutely amazing. It has a sleek design and is sure to turn heads.

Driving Experience

The steering and throttle are both quite twitchy, but Associated did a great job of putting dual rates on throttle and steering. This allows you to adjust the car to your liking and make it as aggressive or tame as you want. The dog bones are metal and make a clicking noise when they move, but they are also very free, resulting in a smooth drivetrain.

The Stable and Smooth RC Car

Free-Flowing and Drives Well

It feels like it can just keep rolling, its very free flowing with no binding. It drives really, really well – oh, my God, so clean!

No ESC Switch

Some other things, there’s not a switch on the ESC. That’s not necessarily a problem, but it is something to note. I went and looked for the switch, and whenever I plugged it in, it turned on – there’s no switch, but what there is are two like connectors that are open where you can put lights and there are buckets for the headlights and there are four headlights. So you can do like the maybe the inner Amber lights and the outside like regular lights.

Looks Amazing

So I think this thing would look super sick with lights on it. I think it just looks amazing in general.

Not Overpowered

It’s not incredibly fast. However, it’s fast enough, where, if you’re new to RC you’re going to think that it’s fast. It is extremely stable and I can turn at full throttle and it’s not spinning out. It has an incredible amount of control, handles really, really well, probably one of the better handling brushed on-road RTRs I’ve ever driven. It’s very smooth, but it might be because of that 15 turn motor. Most on-road cars like this are overpowered, but this one’s not overpowered. I think it’s got a great mix of speed and torque, and I love that you can control it all with the remote. It’s very nice.

Full Pin Control

I’m basically going full pin while I’m driving and it’s not spinning out. I’ll go full pin right while I’m driving and it’s not spinning out. You can hear it, you can hear the body rubbing and it’s pulling geez in the corners, but it is not spinning out. It’s not losing control – very, very stable truck.

The JDM Look: Achieving the Perfect Automobile Aesthetic

The Basics

Achieving the perfect JDM look for your automobile can be a daunting task. However, with the right tools and a bit of know-how, you can create a stunning aesthetic that will turn heads. To begin, you will need a lipo battery and charger, as well as some double A batteries.

The Lights

The lights are one of the most important components of the JDM look. Installing lights on the hood of your car will give it a unique and eye-catching appearance. You can find a variety of lights to choose from, ranging from LED to halogen.

The Finishing Touches

Once you have the basics and the lights installed, you can begin to add the finishing touches. This can include customizing the paint job, adding decals, and even installing a spoiler. All of these elements will help to create the perfect JDM look for your car.
